Body Side Molding

Hi , I was checking the optional Accessories in US Toyota website and I found body side molding , I think it is good to protect doors from scratches, dents and chipping .

I called a dealer in Canada and they have it in stock , but I am not sure about the color code if it same as the Australian kluger or not ?

what you think guys is it worth it to buy ? .

What happens above or below the moulding when some in-considerate person opens their door at the shops without thinking and they have a small car that will hit your door and not the moulding ?

Personally, I see this as I do car bras - great for the area they cover/protect, but what about the rest of the car ?

I don't think it's worth the money...but that's just MY opinion.

for the small car I have the side step .

Unfortunately, I'm not sure the side steps will help in all occassions.

Particularly with back-doors on sedans that have the wheel-arch shape in the back door (which is likely to miss the side steps and let the door hit your car)
