Aurion / Camry Garage Door Opener

Hi everyone,

After having dowloaded the US manuals for the Camry I came across reference to a garage door opener that sits in the front overhead light thingy and was wondering if this thing would work in AUS built Aurions and Camrys.

I've searched the forum and the net but haven't been able to find anything specific. Does it wire in to the cars electronics or is it a standalone box that just needs power. The manual wasn't clear on this. I'm guessing that our cars may not have the required fitting / connection in the roof lining so it may not work anyway.

Does anyone know much about this.

I obviously didn't search to hard did I :(

Hardly seems worth the effort or cost. I might try some of the suggestions in the thread you referred to.
