my rolla is a 05 one. I think my headlight protectors (the plastic part of the headlight) are quite blurry.... that means when u look into the "eyes" of my car, it's not very clear. I think its because of some scratches by some reasons from the previous owner. I think my question makes sense :D.
second question is: My alloys are sliver, can I get it panted black (glossy and beautiful black)? Can I paint my brake red too? Is it easy to paint rims? How much does that cost and where can I have that done?
Cheers.
hi!!! try this one, use metal polished and apply to a small portion (mainly on the sides of the headlight just for a try-out), i've tried it on my headlights and seems to get the blemishes or scratches off a bit, making it look better, and a bit clearer........
cheers!!!

are you planning to replace the wheels and make it look like a sleeper or VIP ? like 17's or 18" like black centre and chrome lip? ;)

greetings !!! i'm a newbie to this forum and would like to say hi!!!! last week i bought a '93 model corolla hatchback. it's a very nice car to drive, and fuel efficient. nothing special with this corolla aside from the K&N pod filter, 15" mags, automatic, well, it's the wife's "car-to-be", so, until she passes her L's, it's mine...... ;)
before that i own a '75 corolla, please visit this website( http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2121625), .
thank you and hoping to meet you guys in one of your meet-ups........

is it true that aurion's have problems when cold starting? like some article(s) i read in cars guide that they hear some tappet noise upon starting it cold? and the noise eases down when engine is warming.
i like the aurion, well, to be honest, can't afford one now, but maybe i can get one next year.
can anyone testify to this rumours?

Quick question (well i suppose with the cost of petrol these days it may turn out to be a long answer) the Boss' (ie wife) Kluger never shows less than 16.5 - 17.0 litres per 100 as consumption. Mostly inner city/suburban driving.
having said that, on occassional trips to southern highlands and the like it has shown 10.5 per 100kms
car is going in for its 10K services, even though only showing 5,200 on odometer (the usual, time or Km's whichever sooner, in our case its always the time) and thinking of asking the dealer to check whether all is OK with engine mangement etc tec..
happy for you guys to advise on what you think
if you're doing city driving, you use more petrol, i have a 2000 Hyundai trajet V6 2.7 ltr., uses the same amount of petrol right around the 16 to 17 ltrs./ 100 kms., but if i drive on highways, specially on the freeways, uses around 10 ltrs. so there's nothing wrong with your ecu. ;)
cheers,

hello to all!!!
hi!! my name is jermaine, new to this forum. just today i finally got my 91 model corolla (well actually it's for the mrs.,but hey, i'll be the one who is playing with it for a while until she passed her Ls' hehehe :D ).
here's the details:
91 corolla Hatchback
15" wheels
K&N air filter
auto (yes!!! you heard it right, auto)
pioneer head unit
jaycar kevlar 6" speakers
for now, main plan is to tidy up the car. a little bit of scrubbing here and there, paint still ok. post picks of before and after (cleaning).
future plans, add more to the sound system department, and manage to keep this little beast as "man-ly" as can be........misus wants to put tweety bird seat covers and all other "chick thing".
cheers!!!

just a suggestion, since your after some wheels in the future, and already have the sport grills ,would you consider painting your steelies with gloss black or gun metal to add to that sleeper feel......it would look more racey....... ;)
