  1. i think all new model of corolla, 07 08 09 uses H11 bulb correct me if wrong. As i changed my bulb to H11 crystal white light 4300k sometime last year.

Wait does this mean I just pull out my old bulbs and put the new XENON 5000K in?

Or is there still something I'm missing?

you replaces your standard halogen globe with the new xenon globe and the ballast simply plugs into the original plug for the headlight loom. if you purchase a kit it will come with easy to follow instructions

  2. just started doing some stuff to my corolla... pls let me know what you guys think.

all these corollas are looking good, keep it up guys

    thats pretty nice,

what have you done to it so far apart from the obvious... lowering, debadging, dual exhaust and wheels?

soi far i've lowered it 2.5" front 3.5" rear, 18"rims, dual exhaust set-up, Cold air intake, Hid conversion and a sound system... still more to come

  3. i got one fitted recently at a place called carasel in liverpool, cost me $380 supplied and fitted in 3 hrs. i even had the choice to get the plug hidden in the boot, attached to a flat ribbon cable type. this was so they did not have to drill into my bumper to attach the plug.

i didnt get to fit many tow bars onto these new corollas(ZRE) when i was working at Toyota P.D i think i only did 2 to be exact and that was when they first came out.

it takes about 2hrs to 2.5hrs max if u know wat ur doing. wiring is simple, plug and play...although most of the new toyota towbar wiring has been changed to go to the ecu so it can detect when u have a blown globe. you do need to cut the bare on the ZRE when fitting a genuine bar but its very easy if u have the correct tools and the template is provided with the tow bar

  4. Aur15 is correct, the cat is under the dash, then you have the muffler pretty much in the middle of the car under behind the handbrake and then the resonator.

this is a pic of the centre muffler... it also has a second cat converter built into the first 1/4 of it then the rest is a muffler thats why these cars are soo quiet when stock

  5. Nah, I don't want those, I want my car to still look normal, I just want Xenon, for the looks :) I'm too young to have expensive stuff.

Anyway, any idea what the casing size is?

hey mate, i have just upgraded my stock globes to hid xenons. very easy mod, jus make sure u mount the ballasts in a secure location.

the globe size you need is h11.

look at the difference between the stock lights and the hid...

  6. For future reference, get yourself a 9v Battery and stick the corresponding wires onto the battery...

The speaker will pop and you'll know which wires go to which speaker :) ...

I can't really do that, because from the back, I need to cut the wires which I didn't do. we just trimed the protective sheet, and put the Live Level Converter. Still, the older model Corolla's helped a lot.

hope this reply isnt too late for what u need... hopefully i can help u
