  1. Thanks for that info guys.

i found a haltec that would work beautifully

E6X, very cheap for what it can do

spoken to alot of people about the microtec, and i was told that they are only really suited for rotaries and are a bitch to tune. so i will go with the haltec for an extra $350.

hopefully the bottom end of the 20v can handle 8-9 psi with the high compression.

Just another question, Is it better to have equal length single runners to the quad throttle bodies- or a plannem chamber.

    thanks

  2. Just a quick question guys i am sure one of u know.

Does any one know the formular to calculate the thickness of a spacer plate needed to decompress the engine when putting on a turbo,

    or

has anyone put one on a 20v 4AGE and how thick was it

It will be runing 8psi boost only

Also does the 20v have the same head gasket as a 16v 4AGE efi

I know i should be putting in forged pistons with lower compression but i dont have that sort of money and i couldnt be stuffed pulling the motor back down again.

    Also (sorry)

What is a good aftermarket computer that i can connect on piggyback with the original computer to supply a good map for the turbo

I know motec if really good, but they are really expensive, over priced if u ask me.

I was kinda thinking of haltec or wolf 3d.

If anyone can help me out that would be really great

    thanks

  3. exactly the same as the AE93 SX corolla clutch from the 100kw smallport 4age.  referred to as the 212 or 215mm clutch with a C series spline depending on which clutch catalogue you look at.  It is NOT the 200mm 4age clutch from the AE82 Twincam.

this might be a stupid question but did the ae93 come out in australia

  4. Just get the standard flywheel lightened by a performance shop. works exactly the same and is a lot cheaper. And no it doesn't weaken the flywheel if it's done properly. I've been doing it for years on many makes/models of cars and have never had a failure.

how much cheaper is it ? and can u get the as light as an aftermarket one? they would have to stregthen it some way by heat or something. thanks :) know of any places in Brisbane that do it

  5. just thought i would ask anyone if they have or know someone who has fitted a lightened flywheel to a 4AGE 20 valve. My 20v is in desparate need of a new clutch and before i fit the new excedy HD clutch kit, i thought i might look in to fitting a Lightend flywheel at the same time. do the 20v's like a lighter flywheel? or does all drivability go out the door? I have had a quick look on the net what ppl have been putting in there toyota's, these are, TRD=TOMS, TODA, TILTON, QUATERMASTER and FIDANZA. Which one would be the best 4 price and quality? Also where is the best place to buy it? If any one could help me that would be great. :)
