  1. I agree with the above but these look like they are neither, just "braces" they don't look like they will do much bracing though. Although it is hard for me to see with the available pictures.

For an anti anti-roll bar to work it needs an end on either side of the vehicle on the suspension parts and also be mounted to the body on either end. The closer the bar is to being a straight bar the more predictable the response. Thats why racing cars have just spring steel rods with ends on them that are adjustable in the leverage point or of a shape that can be rotated with a blade shape like the Australian "super cars"

  2. Hi.

I was hoping to get some help with my 1989 tarago.

I am looking to put mag wheels on it, preferably 18 inch, however i am having trouble finding any that will fit.

It is a 4 stud and has a 114.3mm centre, can any one help me? please!

as you have found out sourcing the less common (these days) 114 wheels is an issue, particularly with the +20 offset your looking for. Look for those specs in a wheel cataloge and see how you go.

  3. lol mate ... i reckon there is benefit if john had one whipped up for him and he said there was a change in feeling i wonder what a fully researched one would feel like.... especially from cusco

I wouldnt say fully researched for a sway bar, only difference between mine and the Cusco is that the Cusco brackets are more refined.

Its the only way really cos nowhere else to mount it...

Charlie how thick is it? mines 20mm

    another view of it

whats this bar meant to do?

  4. My car is a 93 Toyota Corolla. I thought the noise might be the axle so I replaced it. The sound is still there. It happens randomly as Im driving. Different intensity at different times. Its no worse when I turn corners. It happens all the same as I am going straight. Sometimes it gets louder then I take it out of gear and just coast. I have no idea what it is. Any help would be great. Thanks

might be a wheel bearing, should be fairly cheap to replace just as a check.

  5. Hi everyone, this is a weird topic  and im sorry in advance! :)  im trying to rice my car up abit so im looking at painting my chrome in the shiny, stainless-steel like finish...i know that i can get a set of 17' tyre n all that but i cant really afford it so this is the cheap option...just wonder if it is a practical? have anyone try chrome paint (on any part of the car) before? and how long would it last? thanks!

Chrome is a metal and it's applied by electrolosis. "chrome paint" is just shiny silver and it 99% of the time looks kinda dodgy
