Greddy just released specs on the new Z-Manage, system which allows tuning of VVT and control of Lift engagement.....we've been watching this pretty close for the past couple days, sounds like the real deal finally
-
so buy as many brake and suspension parts as you can afford and bring home and sell it back to us in the states for double the price plus shipping........LOL that's what everyone else does.
-
The Altis is nearly Identical to the USDM Corolla. same head lights, tail lights, bumpers, mirrors, even interior. and Suspension obviously
-
Here's stock 6speed rolla...
Here's TWM with the OEM knob. and a BIC lighter for reference. LOL

-
Looking at pics of your guys' parts, there's no difference between US Spec Rolla/Matrix and AUS setup
-
Correct the 2005 Corolla/Matrix US Model 2ZZ is rated at 170hp (down from 180) and Lift is at 6800 RPM. (Peak torque at 4400RPM though)

Here's an up to date Engine Bay Pic for you guys ;)

Mods with Hydra EMS Lift 5700 Redline 8700
that wont last long...
also there stock tune is crap to say the least..possibly makes the gains look more impressive..is the SAE reading one of this "in ideal conditions" type readings, looks good, now much to make it work over here....
Correct the reading is SAE corrected......meaning the car is more than likely making more power than shown....SAE rounds the number down. And it should be noted that down in P.R. I'm sure the dyno conditions were hot and Humid..
Much like Dyno and acceleration tests done in Southern California, they hardly represent "Real World" conditions, as the temps are always high, and road conditions are dusty and windy, that's what you get for building a track in the middle of the desert.

Hydra EMS is less expensive than APEX'i Power FC.....and is NOW PLUG AND PLAY for the USDM Corolla/Matrix!
-
Some of my buddies from Puerto Rico Got the HYDRA EMS hooked up on a Corolla XRS checkout the results!!
-
well in the case of our cars, we simply cut the wire in pin # 12 on the DRL connector. if someone can get me a diagram of AUS spec exterior light circuits, I can show you what to do
-
is this what you're trying to do? or do you want it to stay on when Not signaling?
-
It's a Corolla XRS (ZZE131) Sedan. I have the Sun Auto 'Type-S' universal kit for 4cyl's I believe it's 7 wires total
-
nothing like your hot hatches with that Fiery Red. Mine is a Pearl paint color (Red, Orange and Purple) can be seen in direct sun light

Better?

1ZZ is RD2081 and/or RD2065
BTW I've officially Become a believer. here's my (installed this morning) RD2076BLK....all I can say is....DAMN THIS THING SCREAMS!!! I was very satisfied with the power on my old intake but this thing raised the bar for sure
-
RD2075 was for 02,03 2ZZ models. and RD2076 is for 05+. (no real difference. many 05 owners have 03 Injen, or AEM CAI)

USDM Corolla XRS (2ZZ-Sedan)

there are quite a few cars on this site that would have quite abit more spent on them, looks like these guys haven't seen the 9thgen site
No kidding they'd be laughed off if they came on 9thgen braggin...
-
you're better off with HIDS on stock lamps, I had a set of those projectors on my car for a short time. the projector lens isn't focused and theres no way to adjust the aim on them.
-
im gonna bitch slap the next person that says the rollas dont gain power from a CAI.
here's a dyno on an 05 Rolla XRS with the 170hp spec 2ZZ. only mods were an ebey special Short ram ($25 US) and a Magnaflow muffler.
2ZZ aftermarket ECU

Hardly....both E-manage Ultimate and Z manage combined is under $1000USD. Plus you don't a custom Wiring harness, and months of time tuning just for a good base setting
