  1. I know what you mean! But...I bet you were installing on the ground doing one side at a time? And it was the second one you couldn't get in, am I right? You just have to let the whole control arm droop and install them both at the same time because it's a solid rear arm not IRS, and once it's all together on the ground again reach under and undo those trailing arm bolts on the chassis so its just loose then crank them back up nice and tight, you do this so the bush lines itself up to your new ride height and isn't trying to rip itself apart as it will be twisted until you loosen the bolt,

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah Dani, we did one side at a time, but the problem was one nut needed to be removed from the chassis so that the BC Racing coilvers could slide in. Thanks Dani.

Thanks for your input all, really appreciate it, the coilovers are now up and running smoothly, just had to shave off the bolt cleanly.

  2. Hey all, recently installed BC Racing coilovers (BR series) onto my 2003 corolla sportivo, and was wondering if anyone else had troubles when installing these. The front ones were no trouble, however, the rears seemed to not fit, and removing 1 chassis bolt was required to fit the rears in. Has anyone else had this trouble? Also, if you have, how did you fix it?

    Cheers, Darren.

  3. Hang on, your clock has a blue light behind it?

If thats what you mean, then someone had changed the light behind your clock and clearly f*ked it up.

If your clock is standard, i dont know why u mentioned the neons LOL

Na no blue light behind the clock. I just mentioned the blue neons under the car to let everyone know what has been done to the car, just incase that was the cause. My clock is standard.

  4. What exactly do you mean by stuffed? as in its not displaying anything, its pixelated or what??

Err, i think some of the lines that make up the numbers are always fixed, like i was looking at the clock one time and it read 4:94 or somthing..

blue neons  is the blue working?? more info..

    p.s red is faster

Neons are working fine, haha, as if red is faster =P

  5. Na man, it is one of the main points of this forum, to ask questions (no matter how far-fetched it may be) and educate yourself and learn from the more knowledgable people out there. I don't beleive there are stupid questions man, just stupid answers. Keep it up Toyo.

    Darren.

There is a STUPID QUESTIONS thread though.....

don't worry man, everyone has different views yeah, like i said previously, i don't believe there are stupid questions, only stupid answers. That is my opinion yeah, haha. Sorry if i have offended anyone.

    Darren.

  7. 250kw RWD rolla.. haha.. super rice drifter!

If the money is plentiful then go for it. There are plenty of mods you can do to your 03 rolla, just gota search around. Unlike the 08 ZRE rollas some of us have, we cant do much because not much research and development has gone into it.

Simple mods, exhaust, CAI.etc Depends wat you want dude. If you are budgeting, then mod smart; get better tires in favor of 17" or 18", instead of a bodykit get bigger and stronger brakes. (you get my drift?) Create a sleeper, a lot of guys dont have money to just splurge on every mod possible. Get mods that are effective for you, whether that be performance wise or looks.

Thanks Johnnie, it feels good when someone thinks your ideas on converting a fwd to a rwd isn't that bad and laughed at haha.

  8. mate as far as performance mods go, if you want bang for buck consider, exhaust, cai and ported headers. the 3 work together as a good combination.

lets face it. you will never ever ever make your corolla real wheel drive, if you do your an idiot, buy a supra or something ffs.

finally, if you want to rice it up, consider front grills, eyelids and lowering. thats some bang for buck stuff.

ooh... short shifters are pretty cool and well rated among users.

if i had the cash thats everything i would look at

cheers and happy front wheel driving

haha thanks heaps, you've helped alot. What if i like want the exact shape of my corolla to be rwd? is it possible? or you just don't think it's practicle? =P

  9. how much cash u wanna spend ?

    and r u a ricer or a racer ?

Heyy, err.. willing to spend a fair bit if it's what i want. As to ricer or racer, i'd like to think i'm a racer haha :P but in the distant, distant future, if its possible to get a rear wheel conversion to my corolla, i'd most likely do it, just so i can have a good time at east and west meets. Thanks :)
