  1. That's great news about the electric seats. Hopefully they do get to fix up their website soon with the real specifications of the 2011 Kluger. Motorshow is this Friday so I'm sure they will have it ready by then. I can't wait for my Grande to come in November! :yahoo:

  2. Thanks Scud, you're summary was very helpful. The new alloys though seem to be similar to the ones they placed in the Altitude model doesn't it? No mention as well on the power seats. Hopefully the website is still wrong at this point and that they did not take away the power seats on the Grande.

  3. I have placed an order via my leasing company for an AWD Grande. My expected delivery date though is not until the 11th of November. I spoke with my dealer already and as of last Thursday, they said that they don't have the pricing available yet but expected to receive it soon. Great to hear that there is a price drop in the Grande AWD. Hopefully they don't strip out some of the accessories based on the original Grande. Looking at the website, it seems that they have replaced the power seats with Manual??? Looking at the photo of the Grande interior as well, it seems that there is now an AUX input, but unlike the US model though, it does not have the USB port as well. <_<

  4. Here's what supposed to be the first official photo of the 2011 Highlander/ Kluger.

Excellent! Thanks so much for posting this!

Now since I needed a side by side view to really see the differences, here's something I quickly put together with another kluger (KX-R admittedly) in more or less the same profile.

    Hi Pugsly,

I like the new look! Thanks for posting the comparison of the old and the new. I'll place an order this week!

  5. I knew about the facelift too but didn't want to wait so long and got one just a few weeks ago :)

I wanted the split fold 3rd row. We'll be keeping the car for at least 5 years, and I'd be kicking myself if I didn't wait and get it. :)

Hi Pugsly, thanks for the update. I went to my Toyota dealer last week and did a test drive of both the Kluger Grande and the Prado. That test drive just confirmed my decision to go with the Kluger Grande. The sales guy said that changes for the Grande would be the following : Chrome Grill, Chrome handles, some chrome on roof racks, new design of wheels, 50/50 split third row seat. No mention of signal indicators on side mirros nor ipod connectivity. He was saying that delivery dates would be around October/November time frame as well. He did mention though a price increase of about A$ 3-5K??? Sounded a bit steep for the changes he mentioned but it may have been exaggerated a bit to press me to place an order straight away. I think I will just wait for the facelift version...won't hurt waiting for a couple more months.

Oh, I forgot to mention...they said something about some slight changes on the bumper shape too.

  7. Hi Toyota owners, I have been looking at this forum for quite some time and have learned a lot from you guys. This is my first post.

My gratitude to the folks who put up the information about the facelift version of the Kluger. I already had a Kluger Grande supposed to come in last June 5, but apparently there was a delay in shipment  . This prompted me to just cancel the order and now I'm waiting for the new version coming out in September. I have confirmed this with the dealer as well...they initially tried to pretend they did not know anything about the facelift, but I told them I read it in the Toyota Owners Club Forum. They gave their stock person a quick call, then came back saying...ah yes...there will be a facelift version coming out in August-September.

The problem now is, while waiting for September, I'm starting to look at a Prado GXL instead. Mean looking vehicle with a similar price point to the Kluger Grande 2WD. :whistling:
