    Need a stock Muffler

    Hey all

    i'm chasing a stock muffler for a 1997 Corolla, it needs to be usable....i went to a few wreckers and they rekon that wreckers dont keep the mufflers, so it seems like its gonna be a task to come by one... Im hoping theres a few people on here that might have kept their stock ones and no longer need it.

    Nice ride broo

    i got the same thing, and yea their prettty good daily cars :)

    40 bucks fuel for the weeek, with heavy acceleration :P

    uhmm Pod filter makes a bit of difference, i really didnt like the stock intake, im planning on running a CAI from under the splash gaurd i'll see how that goes.

    Let me know how u go with the HID's, cos im keen on dropping some of them in :D

    i notice u got a bigger muffler in there...is that a cat back system??

    i wanna put one in but not too sure if it'll be worth doing!

    Spotted a awkward Purple?Blue? Corolla taking too many sexy pictures of my car with his Nokia N95 which he should be looking on the road instead of taking photos at South St... If your out there, if you really love my AE86, Ill let you take as many photo of the car as you like if we stop at a place instead of you taking a photo on the road and me starring at the camera because i love cameras and I cant take my eyes away from the camera... hahahahaha B) B) B)

    and my car happens to be purply blue, but its not a rolla, and i dont have a N95, so u didnt catch me takin pics of ur car while driving :)

    i'm assuming we park in the same carpark, considering that car always parks in the same spot :P

    on another note, apparently there's a unmarked 1970's Landcruiser police car thingy....mate got pulled over the other night by one of them so yea...

    yea i feel like a spy spotting out these cars!

    went to pic up someone, so therefore it wasnt loittering :)

    ohh LOVE these stories

    well for my story:

    tonight, i came across a booze bus around 8:30ish in perth!

    so pull up to the officer

    cop: mate ur fog lights are on!

    me: ehh, their driving lights, been on ever since i had the car (lie)

    cop: well i consider em as fog lights and i dont see any fog, so they shouldnt be on

    me: fair enough, i purchased "driving lights", and thats what i consider em to be so, their staying on

    cop: u realise thats a 100 dollar fine

    me: *flick switch* what's a 100 dollar fine??

    cop: thsoe lights!

    me:what lights

    cop: the fogs

    me: their not even on man!!!

    cop: well next time it'll be 100 bucks mate

    me: thats IF, U catch me next time

    then he goes to Breathalyze me!

    i blow a 0.00

    cop:been drinking at all tonight?

    me:nope, hence me driving

    cop: sure u havnt been drinking

    me:im sure, cos i dont drink, and anyway isnt it too early to be drunk??

    cop:mate imma need u to pull up on the median strip (pretty much where all the DUI drivers get sent to)

    me: what?...so im drink driving am i??

    cop: nope, just gonna do a routine check.

    me:routine, since when do u guys have this as part of ur routine

    cop: mate please just pull ur car onto the median strip

    so i pulls up

    cop: u aware u have neons in ur car??

    me: nah never seen em before!

    cop: dont be smart with me!

    me: im not the one asking stupid questions!

    cop: well i could do u for those lights

    me:since when, i get pulled over regularly and no-ones ever had a problem

    cop: yea well, their not legal

    me: *flick switch* alright their off!! can i go now??

    cop: imma need to check ur license first mate

    cop: just for protocol

    so he check my license and realises im a P-Plater

    then he asks me where my P-plates are....i had to get out the car and point out to him that their displayed on the windows!!!!

    and he gives me a threat that im lucky i had em on cos that'd be 50 bucks per plate!

    after some more chattering, he then decides to have a go at my tint...which hasnt been a problem yet!

    and then he goes to the extreme...Is this car turbo'd

    me: have u ever seen or heard a turbo car before, firstly theres no intercooler, stock standard exhaust without any aftermarket mufflers, no boost gauge or any after market gauges for that matter and my car is as quiet as anything, and to top it off, this car wouldnt be able to handle a turbo as it is! So no i dont have a turbo!!

    after a good 20-30 minutes of being a smart *****, i was finally allowed to drive on!

    up untill today i thought a booze bus ment that u get brethalyzed and if u come up clean u get to go!

    first car = Red 1992 Civic Hatchback

    -b16 vtec engine swap

    -straight through exhaust system (catless, with resonator piping all the way through to a 2.5" tip)

    -short shifter

    -16" guttered Alloys

    -Cut springs :)

    -front and rear lips in silver

    -crappy speakers in front only :)

    and pod filter

    and then yea the car was pretty riced out

    but u gotta love rice!

    2nd car = current car 97 paseo, and the only reason i have it is cos i blew the b16 engine :(

    i love the paseo, but the acceleration on the civic was insane!

    i feel the pas is way mor ricey though....

    -17" alloys

    -neons inside

    -undercar neons (in the garage atm)

    -12"sub...with neons :)

    -Amp WITH NEONS

    yep theres a lot of lights...
