14L/100K appear to be unusual, is it suburb or highway driving ? I'd say give your car a good service first.
I have had LPG conversion in my Pardo, overall the net saving I wasn't impressed. Problem was gas usage going up graduately, I brought it back to the installer, he said it was due to dirty gas in some service station. They key to success about LPG conversion is a good installation, so google or search for an installer who has really good reputation.
Having said that I have never heard anyone done LPG conversion to a RAV4, it isn't a bad fuel economy car to start with.

Okay, thanks again guys. If average is 3 weeks, then I'll be in more patience.
Hiro, I selected parts from Japan even though it cost more, so far what upset me is no response to my email, I'd imagine they are a very small team.
At the end, I'm not in a hurry, just a bit uncomfortable so far, compare to all online parts stores that I've dealed with before.

What's usual turnaround time from Amayama that people has experienced ? I submitted an order yesterday and haven't got reply yet, I guess they need to give me a shipping quote. If it's normally more than 24 hours then I'm be in more patience :)

Hi,
I'm new here :)
Love to see a Toyota general forum. I've owned different cars in last 20 years included Nissan, Toyota, Holden, Honda, BMW, VW and Hyundai. Now I only stick with either Toyota and VW when I need to buy any car. Reason is : Toyota = reliability, VW = fun
I have owned a SV21 Camry, a ST162 Celica they were both great cars, now my family have a Series 1 RAV4 and a 90 Series Prado fitted with LPG. All Toyota that I own never put me down, they may be due to I followed every maintenance schedule, and highest build quality of Toyota, but having said that I still think Toyota is a bit boring It's a all rounder but nothing that make you feel exciting.
I'll regularly check back and talk to you guys later :)
Where do you source your OEM parts.. tried Amayama?
