  1. spotted red sportivo with sticker on the side door, aftermarket grill with trd badge and summit fron strut? at wantirna south shell petrol station

I think I saw the same car last night at Glen Waverley shops last night. It's also lowered.

yep its lowered too, he told me he's member on here

Man, its been a fregging long time since I came in here and got spotted somehow.

Hi Sportiyo - so its you manning the shell petrol station counter eh? i was the one chatting with you.

Hi BigBum - i guess its been a long time and you have forgotten how my car looks like from the previous meetings. that was the time when we are meeting together with Kevin/Negatron, Tony/Specblack, Mike, etc..etc at the meetup in the carpark next to Vic Mart and Mazda showroom in the city??

neewayz, the reason some saw my ride often is because i moved to my home schweet home in Wantirna South. :whistling:

  2. [MELB]

Along Dandenong Road/Princes Highway. Last Saturday [27/05], Time was 9'ish or was it 10'ish pm. Was in my ride and my friend was driving a blue Ford ST and we sandwiched a Silver 2005 Sportivo. had a nice and short LIFT drag but sadly i was carrying 4 peepz while the Silver Sportivo was ferrying oni 2 peepz. The stivo had HIDs headlights (I think) and normal yellow lighted foggies. Don't ask me, I forgot the number plate as I was focusing on attacking with LIFT.

*sadly my air-con was turned on too*

  3. do u know wheres that on the run place now, i went there few days ago and they r not in nunawading anymore

    hi there,

i've actually placed the details in TOCA website but it seems the parts forum is gone...somewhere. check out: http://www.ontherunmotorsports.com

they do not have SUMMIT rears at the moment as SUMMIT have not made any for the rear yet. if you want a rear one, look for Northy as he can sort you out. i nearly bought a TRD one from him but sadly copped a ticket and have to forgo it. check it out.

    cheers!

  4. destinator smartST and PN.... what is the difference?? :D

SmartST is for the Navman range. PN is for Destinator...known as Destinator PN (Personal Navigator). Usually Navman is a dedicated mapping device fixed permanently into your car but for the Destinator PN, I am using my own PDA and equipping it with a GPS receiver and works as a map nagivating device just like the Navman. ;)

  5. What happened to the Izzefe turnout...only me and mello? <_< I really NEED to throw on some rims....compared to the other guys, i'm still stock as a rock

    ;) just u wait!

nah, bigbum aka brandon was there to give support to the 1ZZ's too. ;)

BigBum, now you got another mobile cinema challenger with 3 LCD screens to go man. :D

    lol..

It was nice to catch up with u guys.. i parked my car around cydus .. and i can hear u guys in lift as u were leaving.. !

sigh....i must learn to hit lift oni in 2nd gear....2nd gear ....2nd gear. gonna kill my engine soon, hitting lift in 1st gear. bad choice of revving level. :(

  6. spotted Kelvin's Sportivo! Pulled up next to him on the monash freeway at 6ish :D

i was having a slow drive home after a tired day at work bro. lol.....am surprised to catch ya on M1. ;)

too many cars today mate. u r just about right to exit to Blackburn Rd. there was a minor jam coming down from Blackburn Rd to the M1. :(

  7. well for me, i bought the HP iPAQ hx2790 for $490 and the CF GPS Receiver for $114. Got the latest Destinator PN for free (heh heh....downloaded). Integrated all of them.....WOHLAH....a working Sat Nav Unit. Total for mine's $604.00

tested it so far....working like a charm. ;)

  8. $10,000 and that's all they did... What a waste.

Take it easy, it's the high quality stuff they were using :D TRD all the way !! Ain't that right Northy...except u sold some of that stuff  ?

Those seat covers are hot! and taht head rest insert :o

    Hey Jules,

Cool....alas...heh heh...u got ur nice stivo wheels now and getting ur ride lowered. Your dream came true dude. ;) Good on ya. haha....maybe I can see your NICE ride in the next meet up...if there's one :)

UNFORTUNATELY i have to opt out of this Dyno Day run. really wanted to see what the stats are for me car. SIGHHHHHHHHH <_<

  10. post-1500-1139916440_thumb.jpg

Here is the white version....reckon they suit silver???

    hey there,

gosh...this WHITE one is exactly what i'm looking for in the design. been searching high and low and i did not wanna spend that much on Buddy Clubs. do they deal this to Melbourne? how much do you reckon they cost?

    FB

    hi FB,

pardon my blurness but you managed to get all those for $500 and below? :)

  12. Jules,

To every retailer.....you are a BULLSEYE for BUSINESS....so there goes the marketing talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk.........

    all the best mate! :)

Thanks heaps for the encouragement :P i went to see Mr Muffler today...they were CLOSED!!! at 5:15 ? ... i suppose they open at 8...lol, my workin' hours are 815- 5...so including traffic...i'm just gonners  - but definately going there, ur ride looks subtly hot - how goes she atm?

i've been reading that some ppls have leaking springs if run on stock suspension ?

is that becuase the springs are just TOO low? ...i.e on Super lows? - i'm really digging lovells sport lows atm, i'm not seeing any complaints about those bad boys at all - 'reckon i can bargain down to 320, ktse1881 did u haggle?

AND THOSE FRIKKIN' EYELIDS ...double sided tap won't do...what do u other eyelidded 'stivos and rolla girls and boys use? (hopefully something not too permanent?)

    Cheers,

    Jules

-if u see a dude in a fairly bright red cap, nike sunnys and a VERY tall 'rolla (compared to u lowered ppls) weaving in and outta traffic like mad, give me a toot ;) i reloated the horn...so i disabled one of them, and now it sounds like the most annoying horn u've ever heard -high mariah carey style screamer

i told the boss that another place offered to do em springs at $350, so he countered with $340. so its best that you tell him another place offered u maybe $330 and u can ask him to counter that offer. so, its up to ur bargaining power. so far, the lovells are working its magic on my ride.

as for the eyelids, i know its gonna be a pain if i have to remove em (and the possibility of damaging the headlight) but i used the industrial glue provided by MJ Jap Motors to keep them in their position on the headlight.

  13. You should have stopped her pete ...

you may have missed your only chance ...

now you have to do constant laps around towers ... n try to bump into her again !

LOL! im sure she will be spotted again. she turned into castlehill road

hmm....this feels like a movie. haha....man someone get the video camera :D

  14. Hey i was at army today and a guy told me that Repco sell King springs for 'Rollas for arounds 100 bucks (front and rear individual, of course) ...Tall tales  or true? has anyone checked out Repco? I might ring them up tomorrow and inquire

*edit* - went to Repco today...they sell tien shockers for 1700 ... $_$ not for project EL CHEAPO and king springs low *only* for $165 - what a rip! Autobahn sell for $145!!! - that's front and rears :P

IT looks like AUtobhan? ...how much do u STIVO/ 'ROLLA gurus think it would cost just for install? any suggested places?

yes KTSE1881 i shall investigate Mr. Muffler at glen waverly - is that on springvale road? as well as Mr Rubber .. is there any places around the doncaster area? MOTOMAN - where did u get ur gizmo gadgets springs installed, cuase i'm sorta round your area - any Bell St shops worth a mention?

    hi jules,

its along High Street. check out www.mrmufflers.com.au ;-)

    cheers mate!
