Dont know if you are still around on this forum, but I thought you might be able to help. I am trying to put test my car PC audio in my Avalon (2002), its a Grande, so it has the built in JBL amp. But the stupid harness convertor doesnt appear to be pinned correctly. I found one that was wired in the convertor but the original harness didnt even have a pin there! I can't get the thing to power on the amp even when I cross the wires to do so, and when I start it with the original unit and then switch, I get some really strange audio results.
Was thinking if you used the same kind of convertor whether you had similar issues and managed to resolve them or even used something completely different?
