  1. I have 4L of Mobil SuperSyn 0W040 oil left over and intend to switch to a different synthetic 0W40 next service. Would there be any issues with using 1L of the left over Mobil oil with 5L of the other oil to make the 6L required for the Kluger?

    None. You can mix them.

  2. Guys,

Some inside info from somebody in the industry.

All passenger vehicle synthetic motor oil from 10W/40 up is PAO synthetic. Anything below is Group III base oil.

Don't be fooled by different brands as the raw material in these oils are purchased from only a few suppliers in Australia and therefore offer the same level of performance.

Price and consumer preference is what it's all about and how well they market their product.

I'm fortunate not to have to purchase my motor oil, but if I had to I'd purchase any of the products mentioned here.

    Regards, Toddy ;)

  3. Hi All,

Thanks for the feed back. As the car is "practically" new (only had it 3 weeks) the interior is in great condition. I'll give it a through vacuum and then followup with the Scotch Guard.

I'll first test an area as you suggest Daryl.

    Cheers to all

    Toddy

  4. Hi All,

I have an Aurion AT-X 07, purchased recently ex-Toyota "pool" car, only done 13,200klms, warranty runs out 06/11. It's the family sedan at present (until I take it over next year when the wife gets new a car !), so my question is, has anyone or do you recommend Scotch Guarding the interior ? Say the door trim only ?

    Appreciate your feed back

    Regards, Toddy
