Anyone got any idea where i could find somewhere that has, or can custom make, a window weathershield for my Paseo?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks!
Roch

Try K&N web site, find the part number. I got AUTO ONE to order in for me.
i actually ordered the filter, that stated on the k&n website, fitted the paseo. it's too big for the stock air intake box!
-
Does anyone know the part number for a panel air filter for a 5efe 96' Paseo? The stated panel filter to fit a Paseo on the K&N website doesn't fit cause it's rectangular, where as the stock air filter is square.
Any one know the correct one?
Thanks,
Roch

Finally got around to installing air con for my Paseo (previous owner must have been absolutely crazy not to get the air con option when buying it brand new)
*Appreciates*

problem fixed! turned out to be dirty injectors

I'm not sure what muffler it is but I do know that it's 2" inlet / 2" outlet haha.
I got the system from Carline Mufflers. They did a really good job for the quality!

Pic of steering wheel. Oh, and you can also see the sexy TRD knob there hehe
Cat back system installed w/ X Force tip! Sounds nice and deep, not too loud
What do you think?
-
definately my front strut bar at the moment
-
- Reliabilty
- Modification availability (1. Handling, 2. Interior, 3. Exterior)
- Fuel efficiency
- They are both Toyotas (there are no real issues with the fact the Sportivo is from SA)
- I'd give handeling to the Sportivo; exterior to Aurion; interior is probably the same.
- Sportivo officially states 8.5l/100km or so. But depends on where you drive and how you drive. I got to drive pretty damn hard to get a figure that high.
But the main thing here is what gearbox do you want? Sportivo is manual only, while Aurion is auto only.
Manual is preferred. What is the tiptronic gearbox like in the Aurion?
Aurion. Although the 'rolla has a couple of pros over the Aurion, like a real manual and you can park it in a trolley bay if theres no free parks at the supermarket, but apart from that, the Aurion wins for me. Hence (partly) why I own an Aurion an not a Corolla.Really, though, it just comes down to what you're looking for in a car. I wanted power, 4 doors, larger sedan, and leather, so for me the Aurion was the obvious choice. And fuel economy these days is almost becoming a non issue, as it were. Everythings pretty economical nowadays. My 3.5L V6 Aurion costs me $5 more a week than me 1.5L I4 Lancer coupe cost me, and its bigger, heavier, and more powerful. But on the flipside, a new ZR6 costs 43 grand as well. So if you're looking for a reasonably priced sporty car thats economical, comfortable, cruisy, and the rolla has enough power to suit your needs, then go the roller.
Either way you can't lose - they're both Toyotas!
I'm leaning more towards to the Corolla after that, thanks!
-
i agree, the aurion is fricken sexy but the corolla is more fun
-
I've test driven both, really like both of them. Hence why I'm seeking further advice :)
-
reasons pls :)
-
Within the next 2 years I'm thinking of upgrading to either:
- Aurion Sportivo ZR6
OR
- Corolla Sportivo 5Y
My decision will be influenced by your advice.
My priorities:
- Reliabilty
- Modification availability (1. Handling, 2. Interior, 3. Exterior)
- Fuel efficiency
State your advice and reasons

enjoy its good looks and improve it's handling, but ditch the speed mods as you still gonna get schooled by a kia rio
whitestivo
Haha this is true, I'm actually really impressed with the strut bar. Just going to make pretty. Hehe
Hot! Nice catch man!just an opinion: lose the red stripe, it looks like an old Ford from the front.
I'm actually quite a big fan of the red stripe, it makes it look more unique than other paseos around.

Just installed the following:
- X Racing short shifter
- TRD gear knob
- Nardi steering wheel
Will be posting up pics soon!

Mandrel bent is a complete waste of time and most importantly money on a Paseo. I am not being an ***** - I am being truthful.
Yeah I'll probably just get press bends for it. I figured I'll save my money for when I get a more sporty car.
-
Your advice is very much appreciated! Thank you
-
Just go to your local muffler store and tell em what you want, they'll fab one up. Getting a pre-made one will prolly be more expencive.
Get mandrel bends if you can, it'll be more expencive tho.
Thanks for the advice mate. What are the benefits of having mandrel bends?
How many Kms?
