August 2010: Drove from Sydney to Melbourne and back in my 2006 Tarago GLi with the aircon On all the time and got 10.5 litres/100 kms consumption. Since the Tarago is almost exactly 50% heavier than the Corolla, it is about right (body drag on the Tarago must be pretty low for all that size).
Being winter does the aircon compressor stay On less?
