  1. I have been to about three dealers and only one i think is ok Stewart Toyota Sutherland.

so far not bad, but then again i never went to the extent to check the oil after service, so i will be sure to check next time.

on another note i highly recommend NRMA service..the one i used was NRMA service in Rockdale..and they only charge $149.

I recommend Clintons Toyota at Narellan, great workshop team. Bit of a trip but worth it for......

When I got my Aurion serviced on the Central Coasti used Jax at Wyong, great price able to speak with the mechanic and flexible timing. Had tried the local Toyota dealer (won't mention) but there were crap to deal with.

  2. I have recently acquired an Aurion Presara and have managed to get most of the complicated stuff to work (but only after spending many hours reading the extensive manuals over and over again!!)

The one problem I have remaining is transferring the contacts list from a mobile phone to the Handsfree which is part of SatNav. I can pair the mobile via the Bluetooth - which works fine.

When it comes to transfering phone numbers, the screens work fine - but then, even after half an hour, nothing has happened and then I have to click 'Cancel' to terminate. All this time I have to keep the engine running since it says in the manual that the transfer doesnt work if the engine is not running.

It could well be the phone is not correct - it is supposed to have Object Push Profile - and I have not been able to check if my Nokia has this or not.

Has anyone successfully transferred their contact list? If yes, please let me know what type of phone you used. Interestingly, there is a US web site which has a list of US mobile phones which are compatible and it even says which features will work with the Toyota SatNav Bluetooth. But, I couldnt find even one mobile phone which said the Data Transfer feature will work - every one had 'No' under the Data Transfer column.

    Hi Electroboffin,

  3. the interior illumination isnt standard on any Aurion model :( but can be optioned up for around $140.80 or closer to $220 if you have your dealer fit it. P/N for the kit is: PZQ51-33050

    :D

    Thanks for the part number.

Have you actually installed these yourself as I picked the kit up yesterday and found that it didn't come with any instructions of fitting details.

Just looking for a bit of help with this one as it is not clear were to hook these up.

    Thanks

  4. Hi there,

I had a HiLink ipod integration fitted to my previous ZR6 Aurion tht I got from Autovision in Sydney (1300 883 738)which plugged straight into the back of the factory unit and enabled me to have full ipod control through the head unit and steering wheel controls. It was around the $200 mark from memory.

I have just sold this car and bought a new Camry Hybrid Luxury with factory sat nav option and have today found out through HiTv in North Sydney that the same unit from my Aurion is compatabile with the factory sat nav. I installed it myself this afternoon and it works perfectly. It charges the ipod and allows full integration through the head unit and steering wheel controls.

Now all I have to do is find out how to get the head unit to play dvd's through the head unit.
