  8. Hahahaha yeah ! I was running on straight pipe a years back! But it was so loud I couldn't hear anything when talking in the car not to say outside the car so I have enough I put a high flow 100 cell cats on it to help reduce the sound lol

  9. Sounds good mate. Got a real nice throaty sound to it. How does it go on a highway? Does it drone at all?

i do feel more smoother on freeway.! I can't really feel the drone I don't think there is Lols! But gear 1 I can hear and feel the different, before I did any thing gear 1 it's like you have a block noise when you try to scream or speak human language you know what I mean lol
  10. I just custom my y pipes yesterday because of the bending not many shop wants to do it and spend time on it, so I found one Canterbury exhaust shop do it for $850 for card $800 for cash.....take about 3 hours...the stock y pipes is trash ! Then comes to 2inch inside 2inch there is 1.5 inch pipes double piping to reduce sound or something Toyota failed, so now new pipes is from 2.5inch pipes to 100cell 3inch high flow cats then merge to the stock 2.5 pipes.. I feel the car pull more after but I really wanted to see on dyno

  11. i didn't get 6x9" because there is barely any difference in sound quality, they are more expensive and either way you go, you'll need a bracket.

for the front, there are very very few companies which make 6x9" component kits, so 6.5" component was the choice.

as for the back, 6x9" give a TINY bit of extra bass (alpine spr-69 is 60Hz - 29KHz, alpine spr-60 is 65Hz - 29KHz) which i dont need seeing as i have a sub installed which is doing all frequencies below 100Hz

its all choice really. in the end, you wont see them.

when i installed mine i didnt need any bracket ... and my speaker magnet is big also i cut the stock speaker out and reused the bracket
