hi from Bisbane my wife and I are now in the grey nomad section of life we drive a 03 rav 4 cruzer and have done the trip from briss via broken hill to port agutta to cooberpeady ularu alice katherin back to threeways to isza longreach back to bris towing a jayco songbird a fantastic trip and we are going again next sept 2011

Hi everyone,

I joined a couple of weeks ago but felt it would be wrong of me to post anything before taking possession of my new ride, lol.

Picked up my brand spankin' new RAV4 Cruiser 2.4L 5 spd Man. on Friday and absomolutely love it! It's my 3rd Toyota - previous was a 2002 Corolla Ascent wagon 1.8L 5 spd Man. and prior to that was a 1990 Camry wagon (CS I think) 2.0L 5 spd Man.

If anybody knows of a RAV4 club in Melbourne that get together for day trips / outings then I'd welcome any info you could pass on so that I might enquire about joining.

Ultimately, if anyone in Melbourne has a RAV4 and is looking for somebody else to go RAVing with then drop me a line ... not too fussed if it isn't of road, just a cruise around some of our states winding roads is fine with me :)

Hi all

Picked my new RAV4 Cruiser up from the dealer on Friday (just in time for the weekend .... sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet)

Had to wait 12 weeks - seems nobody wants to drive manuals anymore and there wasn't one in the country so mine is fresh from the production line, lol.

Just wondering if there's a RAV4 club in Melbourne that meets up and goes out for day trips???? Very keen to join if there is.

Would appreciate if anyone can give me some info.

I recently purchased a brand new 2010 Rav4 Cruiser with Metallic paint from a toyota dealer last week. It's the FWD model with 4 cyl.

I was given mats and 5 year warranty for $36,500.

You pretty much got the car with the on roads paid for by the dealer ... not too bad.

I just got one same as yours for the same price but also got a tow bar, nudge bar and driving lights included :o)
