11km --- full tank - very happy

not worth it IMHO; if the car is serviced properly and not abused, surelly all will still be good after 4 years and $2K is alot of pain to bear up front for a little peace of mind; put it in the bank and self insure.

About to take delivery of my new KXR - just wondering what type of paint protection they typically come with from the factory/dealer? Should I put a good quality wax on straight away or leave it as it for a few months?

Anyway, picked up KX-S 2010 update (Dec compliance) in Graphite for the wife this afternoon (baby number 4 due in four weeks). It is bloody awesome, thinking of trading in the BMW and getting myself one!
hi and welcome
can you tell us the manufacture date on your kluger; just wondering how long it took to get to aust and have the compliance plate attached?
thks

Drove through some recent floods in central NSW, and was wondering if there is a danger of water getting into the diffs or transmission. Water depth was about 60cm - well above the axles.
nice photo - go the mighty kluger!

apologies in advance for my lack of knowledge about such matters but i was wondering if there is any issues to be considered replacing the 17 inch standard tyres on my kxr with 19 inch tyres.... will my car handle any better ... will my suspension/traction control need to be adjusted ... what about rego and insurance?

ROOF RACK ACCESSORIES - 2011 KXR
in Kluger Club

Hi - we have a current model kxr with dealer fitted geniune roof racks - looking to get some after market accessories (most urgently a lockable ski carrier) - first question - does anyone know if the genuiune bars are a "clone" of a name brand eg Thule, Rola? If so, which one - i am sure then the search for the right accessory and fitting kit will be easier.
Anyone been down this path with experience to share?
thanks in advance
