Hey guys unfortunately my front spoiler (below the front bumper) was damaged when i got into an aggressive mode :P, i made a fast turn and drove over some obstacle over the road, the torque ripped the plastic spoiler apart, so I'm looking to replace it, could someone share some light on how much i will be looking at? i would like to have some idea when i ring the smash repairers, also i'm located in Sydney if anyone has got a recommended smash repairer? any suggestions? appreciated :)

The number will continue to drop from 15L/100 until until its around 11-12 around town.:)

I personally think the stock stereo are not bad, but the bass is a little over powering, especially when you set it so high. on some very base heavy tracks all i hear is base beat and no vocal :P

the aftermarket headunit i got improves the sound quality quite a bit. each to their own, some people prefer heavy bass :D

Hi Guys, I'm researching on how to install this camera. The hugh drill is enough to scare me off. I read someone has posted before on drilling directly through the trim plastic and metal in one go. I know removing the trim is "challenging" so trying to avoid this. Is drilling through directly actually doable without causing massive damage ?

that's the same camera as mine, i haven't installed it yet, but if it involves drilling, i think i'll just stick to my parking sensors for now. :P

lol don't worry when i had my car it was on the 33L/100 mark, it has now dropped to an 14-15L average, 90% city driving. the thing that kills fuel economy the MOST is slow start-stop traffic, and if you leave the car idle for too long. nice car, looks great with tinted windows.

those are hot wheels on a sexy silver sx6, looks like 20s to me.

Another Green P-plater here in Sydney :D, so far I've only seen one other P plater with aurion. I think i need to drive around more.

on the aurion ZR6 (smart entry) there is a switch to the right of your license plate lights that allows you to open your boot instantly without even taking out your key from the pocket, but I'm not sure if that's available on the base ATX model. see pic below, stole it from another forum member :D

Hey everyone i have a silly/retarded question, say if i have 1/4 of a tank of E10 left in my fuel tank, and i then fill up the tank with premium unleaded (RON 98 or 95), would this be bad for the engine in anyway? or is it perfectly ok and common?

i have the pre face-lift model (2007 to be exact), it's a good looking car indeed, before i considered the aurion i always thought the commodores and the Xr6s are sexy, but the more i look at my aurion the better it gets, the look just grows on you hehe

it is a second hand car so it is not perfect, but it is in great condition, considering it's done about 79,000km, price is reasonable, my next step is to take it to a mechanic and change all the fluids in it who knows how long it's been sitting with the dealer. what do you think?

i will probably do a bit of mod here and there, starting with a new aftermarket head unit with GPS/DVD. my last magna had a really good aftermarket exhaust which sounded great, nice deep growl down low when i step on it, i'm still getting used to the super quietness of the Aurion

thanx for the reply peeps, i ended up with a Silver Aurion ZR6, couldn't be happier, it's even opetioned with a sunroof, i tell ya these things are DAMN fast, great rev response, light steering wheel, i almost felt unsafe on the way home lol, takes a bit of getting used, been driving the magna too long i guess :P

there was also a YUMMY Aurion presaro there, but it was out of my price range unfortuantely. BUT i'm very happy with my purchase, the Aurion is a great car, can't go wrong with it.

Hi guys i'm new to the forum, I'm currently in the market for a second hand sx6 or zr6 and i need some advice, i started with 5 different cars and narrowed it down to the aurion (reliability, fuel economy, looks, performance, accesories etc).

Firstly, I have considered the Accord Euro, Mazda 6, VE SV6, BF XR6 and toyota camry. I'm in my mid 20s so i have a tendency to go for a big powerful V6 cars the SV6 and XR6 are both good looking cars, but the general opinion is that they are not as reliable as toyota and drink more fuel when driven normally (especially in city driving). I hope i made the right choice? lol i feel kinda silly asking this in a toyota forum, but from what i'v seen this is a great community, better than some of the other ones i'v been to.

ok so i'm looking at carsales.com.au, and focusing on dealers rather than private sales (for peace of mind), i would like to know is there anything i should be aware of when buying the car, any particular problems to look out for that are easy to spot? as this is the first time i'm buying a second hand car, my last car was a magna :P, goes smooth for a everyday driving car but gets boring.

my budget is roughly $20-23K, also, what warranties should i look for? if any. i'm a little confused between the different types of warranties they throw at you.

should i also avoid modded cars and go for the stock ones?

what colour generally looks good on the sportivo? Silver? I'v been told to avoid black as they dun look that good on sportivo and makes it look smaller? (i can wash my car every weekend so keeping it clean is not a big problem) what about blue?

this is kinda stressful so many factors have to be considered, after eliminating all those other cars, phew.

please any adviced would be highly appreciated :D thanx
