Someone at work who has the same model remembers reading in their owners manual that there's a safety feature on the drivers door that makes the window do this. So my question is now can this be switched off? Or reset somehow?

Just taken delivery of a Ateva 2002 and the drivers power window is acting up. It won't close automatically all the way to the top then stop. It gets to the top and then opens again, stopping halfway. It's weird. I've never owned a car with power windows so i'm not sure what's going on...

Hey Kenku927
No need to use eBay. It's cheap from Toyota. There are two types of remotes for CV36s'
One button remote - $56+GST
Two button remote - $57.50+GST
They are very easy to program. Let me know if you need intructions on programming.
Hope this helps.
Rob
I'm also after another remote for my recently purchased 2002 Camry Ateva, don't suppose you could post the instructions for programming while i source a remote from Toyota.
Cheers, Nick.

Looks like prices have gone up
Sydney City Toyota: $69
Artarmon: $65
That's for the remotes only - no programming
If someone could post the instructions for reprogramming the remote please, for a 2002 MCV36R, i can go and get one.
Cheers
Nick
