  1. Cool thanks. Seems the AUX input mod won't work on my unit as the presara has the GPS SAT NAV and doesn't seem like ppl are getting it to work on these. Don't really wanna replace the headunit as the factroy sat nav one is rather nice. May have to except defeat on this one.

Even if you had a 2011 Presara, you still wouldn't get streaming audio, but you would get an Aux input. My ZR doesn't have streaming audio, but it does have the Aux input (not that I use it! 170 mp3 tracks on each of 4 CDs is enough.

Yeah, I tend to agree as i have made up 4 cds its heaps of music. Would have been nice to be able play music of the phone though.

I stream music from my Galaxy S 2 through the bluetooth dialpad screen on my aftermarket unit. I guess a aux cable is the only way to go.

  2. What if some idiot comes along and cuts the cable? I'd be wanting to hide my cables. Some people are just assholes.

This is the camera I have on mine.

    22.jpg

I drilled 3 very small 3mm diameter holes. 2 for the mounting bracket, 1 for the cable through the plastic number plate panel - no drilling through metal. Passed the wire through various gaps and holes through the metal back and connected it to the RCA connection which is run down the left side of the car. My camera is great for installing because I didn't need to drill a hole the size of the RCA plug as it has a mini connector before the RCA plug, if that makes any sense. You'll understand when you see this picture below.

  3. Anyone having problems with their sway bar bushings? Mine started to squeak about 2 or 3 weeks after installation. Jacked up the car, lubed them up again....1 week later, starting to squeak a little bit again :(

At FIRST I had bad squeaking so I took the advice from here and rapped the bushings with teflon tape and greased everything up. It's been months and no noise what so ever. It's 100% gone.

Will give the teflon tape a go. Cheers. :)

  4. I thought the alarm is disabled when you unlock the car with a metal key. However you can't start the vehicle with a cut key because of the inbuilt chip in original keys that disables the immobiliser. Leave your original keys in the house and try the cut key again. See if you can start the car.

  5. {edit*}

I don't know man, they look pretty raw in places. The welding doesnt look to crash hot, and they have been damaged pretty bad in travel, prob worse cond than your 4 yo stocky one.

They could of put alot more love into the powder coating.

But UR Malay said they where the real deal, thanks could you message me for Junloong email if possible? I'll email him direct for mine, and to quadroople wrap em :P

Just ring them and they will check. That's what I did, then I corresponded by email after that.

Probably a bit too late to give you the email now.

And I know everyone already knows this, but the 2 bars make an amazing difference to the feel of the car. :spiteful:

  6. On the very first day I bought my Aurion and drove it out of the dealership I reset Trip B and never touched it because I wanted to see how many KMs I've done since I bought the car. Checking today the KMs on Trip B have reset because I'm just above 2000KM on it now.

So I'm wondering when does Trip B reset?

When you reset it yourself by pressing the odometer/dash light dial and holding it in on Trip B.

  7. Ok definitely genuine. I purchased the bars off eBay on 11th April. Wasn't sent immediately because he had to order the bars from UR.

    Hello David,

According to our system. It was declared at mid of April.

Should you have further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon.

  8. Sent an email with photos to Ultra Racing and confirm serials and products are legit. As I said earlier - they're the goods or really good fakes.

    Hello David,

Don't worry, you've purchased genuine Ultra Racing products. The flat section is actually the latest batch of product to clear the clearance between the strut and the snorkel. It will still hold strong as long as the two points on the strut tower are being connected.

According to the serial number provided, these has been sold by Eushia from Malaysia, one of our distributor in Malaysia.

Should you have further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon.

    Best Regards,

  9. Perhaps they got damaged in transit as it was only shipping in bubble wrap. Thanks for the info.

Neither discrepancy looks like transit damage to me mate.

    Yep. What about the RSB?

How should I go about sending it back and getting a refund via eBay? I paid with PayPal too. Surely eBay has some policy against selling of non-genuine articles.

  10. I just got my bars today.

I rang UR in Malaysia today to confirm serial numbers. Apparently they haven't updated their system yet so she will email me when she can confirm. I asked for a purchase date of the bars to see if it matches up with my order date timeline.

The bars look real according to http://www.ultraracing.com.my/template.asp?menuid=18

If they're fakes, they're really good ones. They look the goods but we'll see, I guess.

The anti-roll bar came wrapped in the UR racing plastic but the front bar only came shrink wrapped.

Can anyone confirm that the front bar should have a flat section as per the attached photos?

Also my rear anti-roll bar didn't come with 2 pieces circled in the official ultra racing picture and the product code doesn't match up with their website (Toyota Camry 2.4 07 rear anti-roll 19mm

Product Code: UR-AR19-159) versus UR website (UR-AR23-221). Googled UR-AR19-159 and it seemed to come up with Camry 07 so it may be because the website is out of date?

  11. Hi all. I am running iGo8 and iGo Primo with R18 map (2011) but would like to have an updated speed camera file. Anyone have it or know where I can get it? I noticed driving around Melbourne the other day it hasn't got some of the newer cameras out there even though they're over a year old(?).

  12. Drove from Melbourne to Port Campbell (12 Apostles) today via Great Ocean Road booting it all the way down giving it heaps around the twisty and windy bends and hairpins. I accidentally filled up with RON 91 today - I usually use RON 95 so was expecting bad results.

520 km round trip - 121 km cruising range left plus whatever fuel is left after zero cruising range. Average fuel consumption of 8.7 L/100 km. Not bad.
