I got the recall done about two weeks ago and as i was going through this forum stating about a sticker on the driver side door i couldn't find it, they just give me a sheet of paper and stated what was done, ADR recall and gear cable replace.

I still have the same gear knob, can still hear buzzing sound when rev between 3 to 4krpm, the airbox still looks the same, i open the airbox and unable to find whats the difference, unable to feel any improvement when driving, Could it be that my Toy dealer never done the recall properly or even never did it.

How can i check because i am pretty sure if i call them, they will deny it.

I got the letter yesterday. ;) , i want to know if they're replacing the ECU or just reprogramming it only. About the Gear selector cable are they going to change the gear nob also, i seem to like our current gear nob.

That is good news Peaky34, man the last two times i have spoken to my local toyota dealer and they said they have no clue on what i am on about.

I think they're just playing dumb or palming me off

Yeah when they service me car, i brought the car in and around 2 to 3 hours later they call me and ask to do a fuel injection clean and wheel alignment with balance,

i ask if it is necessary and they said yes, thinking the car might go better after that, i ask how much it cost, they said total is $340, i said what the heck it better for the car told them to go ahead, when i pick up me car they said the total price is $370 ??

i said the guy that call me quoted $340, the service desk said he forgot to add on a few things?? Went back to the car and check if they have stamp the Log book and realise it wasn't there. I went back straight away and they said i never brought the book in.

I believe they have F$%&$up and gave the book by mistake to someone else and deny it. I told them this is not good enought and want to make a complaint they said they will post another one to me in three weeks!!!

Moral of the story is they fu$%^$&up and try to deny it.

Man this makes me mad, I sevice my car 2weeks ago, charging me $370 and then lossing my service log book. They said i never brought the book in, i drove home and try to find it, me brother remember i brought it along.

My worst Toyota Services Ever.

Just got my car 20K sevice yesterday at Western Toyota and they charges me $370??? , they said i gotta have a wheel aligment and balances, plus fuel injustion flush. The worst part of it is that they lost my Log Book and claim i never brought the book in. I went home and try to find it but i could remember i brought it in a gave it to the service guys. What do you guys opinion about this. Iam never going back there again.

Not happen and really pis#%^#^ off.

I have a race with a Civic Vtir coupe the other day, i think they go pretty good for a 1.6vtec but he loss by about one and half to 2 cars lenght to 120km/h and we didn't clutch dump. He gave up about 120km/h.

Iam pretty sure we can beat 8.4sec time to 100km/h but getting to 7.4 is putting this c-sportivo into the holden Astra turbo acceleration range.

I think toyota or NineMSN claim the current celica to be 7.3sec/100.

Even Motors mag the one that rated the c-sportivo so low did a 8.2/100 and 16.0 quarter mile time.

Hi Guys i haven't posted in this forum for a while now. Its good to see this forum growing and there is lots more C-sportivo out on the road.

I think all this KW started when Motors mag august/03 edition compare the hot hatchs, they rated our c-sportivo the lowerest and it was 87kw@wheels. They also mention that the car is hero on paper but not when its on road.

I will call them on monday and find out, man i have to said this toyota dealer is pretty dodgy, dodgy sales and services, if it wasn't close to my place i wouldn't take it there.

Iam getting my shocks replace, toyota said 3 weeks wait, ???

man i have to say, this will be the last time iam getting my car service by that dealer after they replace the shocks . I also notice that a fair bit of fuel is use after i had the car service with them eg abit less then 1/4 of a tank is gone?.

I work in chatswood and i own a black sportivo, but not that no# plate, i always head home down fuller and dehli rd.

Got my car 10k services last friday after going on a 3week holiday B) , iam also getting my shocks replace, i notice a bad knocking sound when going through small bumps and also while turing, service cost me $170, replacing shock is under warranty.

I remember after my first 1000km services i hit the rev limiter a few times it is pass 8200rpm.
