  1. You wish you could find a cctv camera nearby and track down the offenders.

    I also hate

    - Shopping Trolleys. Nothing worst then coming back and finding a trolley up against your car

    - People Opening Doors into other people’s cars (my kids have been taught to opening their doors very carefully when getting in or out)

    - People leaning or sitting on my car (I have come back to find somebody leaning up against my car talking on their phone)

    Cheers

    Hey Jackstar

I have been down this track many years ago (Before Kids) with a Nissan Maxima with a large Rockford Fosgate System , my advice is find a good

    auto electrician .

As stated by the other memebers

    1. Respool stock alternator (Cheaper)

    2. Run 1/0 Gauge Power Cable , from the Alternator to the rear of the car , and run a 1/0 Gauge Ground Cable (overkill , but if you are going to do it once & you have the money)

    3. Run good fuses front and back

    4. Get a second battery for the rear/boot and also get a good Battery for under the hood (Stinger SPV44 44AH Dry Cell Battery)

    5. Stiffening Capacitor (2 Farad or more if you have the money.) I like the ones with the DigiCaps which shows the volts

6 Get a good Distribution Block (One 1/0 Gauge Input/Three 4 Gauge Outputs)

    7. Run some 4 Gauge Ground Cable at the rear form the amps .

    8. Get a Second Job to pay for the above!!!!

    Best of Luck

    Mick

  3. mafia style ... looks good , especially on the showroom floor .

But up in CQ the heat is the big thing . The cabin temp seems higher (tinting the windows helps)

You must clean off any tree sap / bird crap ASAP or it will damage the clearcoat/paint very quickly .

Also black lack of any light reflection , so any little imperfections show up

    Cheers

P.S We have gone silver this time ... which can have it's own problems .

  4. Quick Question , Does anybody know of any Tire Shops/ Wreckers that sell second hair rims ??

I have a 2010 Aurion Touring SE , and two of the rims have bad gutter damage.

I could repair but I'm not sure of the cost ??

So I check ebay everyday for rims ... but no luck yet .

Does anybody like CSA or Mullins wheels make a copy of the rim ??

    Cheers

  5. Music DVD Creator is an innovative utility for you to personalize your own music DVD. It allows you to convert all separate audio file (CD, MP3, WMA, WMV, etc) into DVD format; to rip all audio track from video file with audio contained in; to specify recorded audio file as input; to burn your favorite music into DVD-R/RW disc or output to hard disk.

    Music DVD Creator v1.0

    Goland Audio DVD Creator 1.9.0.0

I have used Goland Audio DVD Creator for the home dvd player , which worked , Not sure about the car ??

only downside is no random option

    cheers

  6. In shifting over to (S) sequential sports mode, I when from second to first while accelerating (pulled back instead of pushing forward) Worst 10-20 seconds of my life, hopefully the rev limiter saved the motor. It took a couple of second to understand what had just happened . No damage seem to have been done to the motor or auto (thank god) .

I do find in the standard mode , the car is a little slow off the mark (compared to (S) sequential sports mode) and need more encouragement to get going. The klugers at work seem to be quicker off the line .. maybe it’s to do with the FWD system compared to the AWD systems ?? Any Ideas

    Anyhow lesson learnt

    Cheers

    Mick
