  1. I should really come to this and meet some people off here considering I'm living just off the island. Might be overseas though.

Please confirm as soon as you can if you're available to come. :)

Anyone else confirming? Will call later at book for 9.

Also, if anyone is interested, thinking of doing a pre-run on either next Sat/Sun 22nd-23rd to scout bbq spots. Please let me know if you are. :)

    Too late to confirm?

  2. Using Bowden's auto body gel with a microfibre wash mitt, don't expect to have no stone chips at all, but I reckon there are far too many for a car that's only done 20,000k. The commodore I traded in for the aurion had 180k and less.

Think the steel curaiss might hinder my vision slightly too haha.

  3. Hi Guys,

Every month or so I seem to see a new new stone chip in my bumper or on the bonnet. Looks like it's done 200k not 20k. When I bought the car new from toyota I got the paint protection and leather protection and it said to wash every week with ph neutral car wash and you'll never need to wax, prevents stone chips and tar, blah blah blah. I've been pretty good with cleaning every week, but I still have to scrub hard to get the tar off every week and seem to get a new stone chip every month. Anyone else with a 2011 White LE Aurion got the same problem? Anything I can do to stop it happening? Will toyota laugh in my face if I complain?

  4. Hi Everybody,

Thought I'd introduce myself, name's Tim, 23, and live in Cairns

Just bought a 2011 Aurion Limited edition and love it!

Had many Toyota's before and this makes it my third at present (have 2 hilux surfs in NZ)

Moved to Australia in '09 and made the mistake of buying a V8 VY commodore, which cost me

far too much to maintain and would have cost a bit more if Mr. Toyota didn't trade it in

    for me.

Didn't think I was gonna buy the Aurion and tbh didn't even really know it existed, but after

visiting Holden looking for a new commodore and researching them a bit more, decided I would

look around first. Took the Aurion for a test drive and couldn't believe how good it was,

handled waaay better than a commodore and could tell the build quality was just that much

better. Don't plan on doing anything drastic to it in the near future but would love to

supercharge it at some stage (can you still buy TRD superchargers?), just at the moment every

time I drive it, I confirm to myself it was a great choice
