  1. I have the similar issue as yours, and plan to drill the hols to fit the spoilers on.

Just wondering where I can find those nuts for the bolts on the spoiler? and clips also?

and what is a good way to do rust proof as I need to drill a few holes on the body.

The nuts I just bought from my local Autobarn store. If I remember correctly the thread has a 6mm internal diameter and a hex diameter (if that makes sense) of 10mm, so you'll need a 10mm socket to tighten or loosen it. With regards to the clips, I actually just sawed off the with plastic clips? bolts? protusions? Not exactly sure what they're called but I'm sure you'll get what I mean, instead of looking for the clips and drilling extra holes. Wiring should be easy enough, I opted to keep the light that was already inside the door so now I have 2 tailgate ( i believe is the term) lights. Just soldered it on, matching the wired and it worked like a treat. rust proof, I just painted the edges where i drilled.

It'll be a lot easier if you somehow sourced a template for the spoiler, I bought a spoiler off a guy a few years ago brand new and there was a paper template that you placed on top of the tailgate and drilled accordingly, instead of guesstimating where to drill. Maybe you could ask a toyota dealer?

Very helpful advice, will upload the photo once I get the project done :)
