A bit late, but you can get the Eanon replacement headunits, or the chinese ones from ebay for about $300.

If you want to go for a brand name HU, You just need a fascia, which you can get from ebay for $25. You use the factory brackets. Ive just done mine with a pioneer double din unit.

Started to make a false floor lid. But I've been too slack to finish it.

Just remember that everytime you adjust the height of your coilovers, its best to get another alignment.

So make sure you get it at the height you really want (and can drive at) before getting it aligned.

I actually had an experience like that the other day. It was a cold day, and when i took off it had that rasoy sound, but after a couple of minutes, and i floored it again, it had gone.

Maybe the exhaust contents needs to heat up and expand slightly.

They are straight thru pipes, but are still pretty quiet. They arent raspy either. (like a honda)

The magnaflows i brought off amazon, both for $300 delivered.

Then i went to MCE motorsport in Wangara to get it fitted. Go in for a quote.They are very reasonable.

This is a quick vid i made, with a little something extra half way thru.

This is recorded with with the back of the car in the garage, so its a little louder than if it was right outside. As i said, its pretty quiet. Theres the slightest drone added, but my sound insulation muffles that inside the cabin.

The first blip of the throttle sounds a little "honda-ish", but its not too bad.

Yeah, they arent very helpfull here in WA. The few ive found that deal with toyotas havnt had any. Seems a bit strange.

Might end up just finding a dummy muffler to even out the look, and then i can finally put some nice tips on them.

Its the last thing i need to finish the car off.

Good to know. I talked to another guy in the states and he reckons his buttons have become wobbly. And sometimes his cd jams, and then violently spits them out.

I know there are quite a few differing models that look the same..

I priced up 2 of these mufflers to be sent to perth, and it came to $305 for both.

Dont know if customs tax would be added on when it lands here though. My rims didnt, but my kit did.

Im keen to purchase one of those chinese ebay headunits.

Im wondering if the owners of them have had any problems like sticky cd's, or wobbly buttons after using them for 6 months or more.

Too much work gone into it now. Shes a long term keeper.

The stock headunit will only have speaker wires coming out the back. You would need to purchase a "Line out converter" to convert them to RCA's. PAC do a good quality cheap one. (check ebay)

As for power? Im guessing that as with most factory systems, you wouldnt see much more than 15watts per channel. When you remove the 6x9 speakers, you will see why. If you decide to upgrade your speakers, you would really benefit from an extra amp.

With that amp and sub package, you will find it over powers your factory speakers very quickly.

yeah one joint priced it between $5-600 just to fit a dummy muffler, without tips and not connected.

Might end up trying to do it myself.

Is there anything more quiet than a standard muffler though?

Im wanting to add a 2nd standard muffler (LHS) to my 2008 Camry and was wondering if any of you Aurion guys had any spare mufflers lying around.

Im wanting standard to keep noise levels down. Im only going to be adding some nice tips.
