Have checked all the fuses I can find

Help please, I have a problem with my 1993 Camry Wagon, 2.2 Litre, Automatic Transmission. Neither the reverse lights, or rear wipers function. I have tested the bulbs with a multimeter and they seem okay.

The question is really two parts

Do I have one problem, (break in the wiring) or two separate problems.

Any suggestions as to what the problem, or problems could be.

1993 Wide Body Camry Wagon

I was having issues with the Cig Lighter and I was checking for power with a Multimeter, while doing so I shorted the lighter. I heard a pop and the radio went off. I have checked all the fuses and they seem okay.

I am at a loss to see what the problem is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

*** Left the car for a couple of hours....... Rechecked fuses, found a blown one.... All good now...... Me *******

I had this in my MR2 I had years ago, the contacts in the stalk weren't contacting and were dirty. I pulled the Stalk apart and bent the contacts back into place, wiped them down with an electrical cleaner and it was all good. Might be the same thing with your car?

I will try that and see how it goes

A huge thanks to all, I pulled the combination switch this morning and cleaned the terminals and straightened them all.

Plugged it all back in and I now have Hi beam and flash. :-D

Hi all I am new to this forum and I hope this is the right area to ask.

I have a 1993 Wide Body Camry Wagon, the problem I have is that the Hi Beam does not work. The blue light comes on on the dash for hi beam on and flash but the headlights go out when it is in either position, the low beam works fine.

I have changed the relay, tried a different combination switch, changed the ECU..... and before anyone asks I did change the globes.

If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
