  1. My 2004 Sportivo v6 has the antenna embedded in the rear windscreen. It looks like the anti-fog wires, but they are two separate wires. The antenna takes up the top 10-20% of the windscreen and the anti-fog covers the bottom There is a clear gap between the two where I can see they are not electrically connected. Incidentally it has the equal best reception of any car I've ever driven (not that I listen to the radio much)

  2. I don't know whether or not it comes with an input for ipod, but I installed a GTA Car Kit in my 04 Camry and it's brilliant. Works with all steering wheel controls etc.

Here's the link for one for your car (note you will need to order an extra cable with it because of the sat nav): http://www.gtacarkits.com/toyota_camry_2007_2011_car_kit.php There is a youtube instructional video showing how to do it.

I needed an apple adapter to go from 30-pin to lightning for my iphone 5, ~$40.

I also bought a Brodit cradle and attachment clip (http://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=514434&pn=prod&brand=Apple&model=iPhone%205 & http://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=653833&pn=prod&brand=Toyota&model=Camry&year=2011), and all together it gives a really integrated feel.

Cannot recommend highly enough. If you want any more info or pictures let me know.

  3. 2005 model (built Oct 04) Sportivo v6 manual MCV36R.

I get around 11.5L/100km on a normal week of mostly work commute and a couple of other trips.

I've never done a tank with 100% highway, but on one I did about 90% and got about 9.5L/100km.

This is calculating from km's travelled and L filled up. My trip computer tends to read a little high.

  4. So, had purchased on 05 model 2004 V6 Camry Sportivo in a very pretty white, when three weeks later two drivers on the other side of Milperra Rd decided to have a bump and for one of them to come say hi over the median strip. It's currently sitting in the body shop, as it has been for 3 weeks while Allianz decides whose fault the accident was. Meanwhile I'm a bag of giggles....
