  1. Does anyone have any info on purchasing foglights for my 05 seca, by replacing the left and right inserts. I know i can probably get the originals from Toyota (ie/ levin etc), but is there a cheaper alternative ?

Also, do the levin fog lights work any good in real fog ?, or are they just a gymmick ? Are the bulbs replaceable with the more traditional yello type ? ...... thanks

  2. i heard that is the factory number you are concerned at.

genuine toyota oil filters are coming from thailand or japan. japan oil filter boxes are glued sealed to open it to take out the oil filter you need to break the seal and thailand boxes are only folded sealed you can open and close it.

there are 3 types of oil filters made by toyota. there is short, long and big. big is for big cars like prado.

short and long can be interchanged as the seat thread is the same. guys in japan have their theories on which is better. i have used both on 1zz and 2zz.

for 1zz engine the original part is the short filter but in japan i have heard of people using the long filter thinking it will work better.

for 2zz engine the original part is the long filter but also in japan some people use the short filter thinking the compression is better.

the long filter is about 15mm longer than the short filter. does not matter if you are using the short or long filter but it you want to stay original then you need to use the short filter any short filter made by toyota.

they have supplied to you the long filter made in thailand

here is a photo of the filters i am using. i have 2 short and 2 long. i would not worry about using the long type. hope this helps
