  1. Shouldn't be doing that, take it back. If you've purchased the car recently, it should be covered by statutory warranty. I had a headlight replaced 2 weeks after I picked my car up cause the plastic mounting points were all busted. Didn't buy mine through Toyota dealership but under statutory warranty they had no choice.

i bought it second hand, but its still under warranty, can i take it to any toyota dealer or does it have to be where the guy got it from?

  2. So i have an issue with my radio reception. It works fine, but when i turn on the rear window defogger the radio becomes all static like its interfering with the reception. Is there a solution for this that i could fix or do i take it back to toyota?

    Cheers,

  3. Thanks heeps guys, might post this up in the guides section with a few extra piccys.

Can you PLEEASE see if you can adapt this to the standard pre-facelift lights? I've wanted this basically since I bought my car :( Dont know how similar the power design is between the pre/post facelift lights (figured you'd be the one to know :P)

Will do Josh, I still have the orig clusters from my 08 tail lights i'll check it out through the week and post back here.

i have a spare set of face lift tail lights at home, i might experiment aswell :D

Remember Aiden the lights I modded here are "aftermarkets" I suspect factory ones will be different.... in fact here is a piccy I have of a factory facelift tail light to prove it.

Your mods are awesome! I'd like you to do the set of head and rear lights on my ZR6.

  4. ^^That

And expect to have injuries after the job is complete :D

Yep! I was thinking of sending my medical bill to Toyota, lol. Seriously, who ever designed the way you change the parkers should have to change 100 Aurion parker lights as a punishment!

    ^^That

And expect to have injuries after the job is complete :D

Okay, i just changed my parker lights. i tried my best to avoid injury but i only have one scratch. Still ridiculous you have to go through that to change a bulb. Would you guys know if small plastic LED bulb is good for parkers? i was told its bad cause it'll melt next to the low beams.

  5. I could, but you will have to wait a month or so, ive just started a new job and have a back log of lights to get through atm.

If you need them done sooner you can call a mob called autojoy they are @ clyde im pretty sure they did the ones above.

Thats alright, my cars still under warranty until i hit 100,000km i think. So i cant do any mods to it until then. Just getting ideas and info. Everyone seems to recommend you so i think i'll stick with you.

  6. cheers Guys :D

On eBay, crazy the god sells them $499 or marsperformance.com $689.

In regards to quality, defyant modded angel eyes lights>Marsperformance angel eyes>crazy the gods angel eyes

I have the crazy the god angel eyes. Problems I had were finding the correct bulb, which was d4s had to pretty much purchase a new HID kit as my h11s did not fit. Secondly to replace a bulb you have to. You have to... remove the front bumper. The LED strips are not that bright. The bulb holder was loose, the screws were not threaded properly. Also they are not plug and play as advertised, custom wiring required.

Did not have the patient for the marsperformance angel eyes and do not have the skills that defyant do

so I am stuck with pretty poor quality lights. they work for the time being.

    regards

    juan

    Juan's pretty much nailed it.

Seeing inside these things you find out pretty fast what you get for your money....

Here 's a few pics for you to check out. It's not one of my jobs (im thinking autojoy) looks like a 120mm/100mm ring combo and a R5 type eyeline from eXled. dual blinker/drl combo

    Photo429.jpg

Another option is dual 110 rings, I kinda prefer this look of these rings. they look a bit more pro than the autojoy installs.

Either one, I still think modding your factory headlights is the better way to go if you must go down this track.

Yeah, I thinking modding it would be an easier option then buying a whole new headlight. Would you be able to mod my headlights for me? The ones you suggested seems pretty good. Cheers.

  7. Hi guys,

I just recently purchased a silver 2010 aurion zr6 and I'm loving it, such a great car.

The only problem i have is that the cars too quiet for a V6 and was wondering what type of Exhaust system is ideal to give it a bit of power and grunt, same with an air intake. Suggestions would be appreciated.
