  1. Hey man,

    What's your aim/requirements?

    E.g.

Want noise/don't want too much noise?

    performance?

    cost?

There's CES systems that go for around $8-900 if you jump on some of the Sportivo facebook pages. That'll get you something with a little better breathing without being loud.

Personally I'd just pick up a muffler (twinloop or Megan Racing twin tip looks nice too) and just get 2.5" piping for those gainssss.

This will probably only set you back $3-400 max.

I currently have an OBX twin loop. Looking to upgrade to 2.5" piping in the near future

Hey mate im just about to buy an xforce twin loop, how is the fit of the OBX? Looking at them I'm worried that a twin loop will hang to low

  2. I like the hella horn look, they are pretty easy to hook up yourself?

Just wondering your coilovers how do you find them for daily driving? Also I looked on fortunes web site but couldn't work out which one would fit a zze123

Your car is basically where I want my car as a first stage and then once I sell my weekender I'll probably go with that ECU I posted and build the engine. Should be sweet but pricey haha

PS Your car looks nice man

  3. Sorry to dig up an old topic but has anyone actually fitted a simota cai to a face lift tivo? Read through heaps of topics and it seems some say you can and others say you need a different filter. I just don't want to buy one and not need it or get it all fitted but then need that kn3900.

    Cheers

  4. So picked myself up a clean 05 sportivo in silver with 130xxxkm and a decent service history. Now to do some basic maintenance this weekend like oil and plugs as I think the guy that had it before just used Toyota to service it. Now to look around for a decent intake, set of lowering springs, decent jap rims, rear sway bar then also look towards clutch and oil pump. Then I should have a pretty sweet daily for many years to come.

Is there much of a Toyota car scene over here in Perth?

  5. Hi guys new guy here from Perth

Just jumped on here because I'm looking at purchasing a Corolla Sportivo in the near future and I'm keen on finding out as much as possible and asking questions.

My first car was an AE93 corolla with a 4AFE and I always wanted to do the 4AGE swap but at 17 didn't know a lot. I am currently in the process of selling my Mitsubishi Evo 7 that I have owned for 5 years because I don't use the car for what it was made for anymore and I was looking to downsize/get myself a house which isn't going to happen with the Evo chewing through my wages every fortnight.

Anyways I wanted to get a 4AGE but after a bit of research realised that the 2ZZ-GE is sort of Toyotas new 4age (someone will jump on here and tell me I'm wrong) so that sounds like it could be for me. The only thing that has got me worried is the issues with the oil pump. I have looked everywhere but it doesn't seem like you can get a decent one here. I would have thought with the engine being in a lotus someone would make a decent one or you would think that someone in Japland would make one, I'm too used to having a variety of decent parts available. I'm hoping someone one here can point me in the right direction.

Looking to keep the car stock to begin with as the minister for finance will be keeping an eye on expenditures but ill slowly add a few mods here and there. Probably a set of BC P1's and lower springs to start with.

    Seb
