As north said its not the car is your driver all you REALLY need a fast left hand. I had problems landing lift in 1-2 changes maybe for like the first week i had the car after that.
Perfect gear changes, Note my Runx is completely stock, and is on 17" wheels and i have no problem.

not all allex are 1zz.
My Allex is 2zz and the only difefernce between that and the JDM runx is the chrome detailing on the exterior. (chrome on door handles, chrome on trunk handle etc) the interior and the dash remains the same.

what year is your car?
I'm in the middle of an installation guide for pfc to runx so it isn't much more work to add the SA sportivo to the guide at the same time.
Any update on the installation guide?

what year is the runx you've installed the pfc into? I'll have a quick look at the diagrams and tell you what's required.
2001 can you please send me these diagrams.
Still awaiting your assistance. HELP PLEASE

Seriously contemplating this mod, but i need some direction with the workarounds required for encountered with the PFC install.
Northy, Help!!
what are you after exactly?
emanger you can get them 2nd hand fro around the $300 mark now, add few hundred for fitting/tune
After installing the PFC on a friend runx here, he discovered the fan would not cut in and the AC stopped working.
The fan issue we attributed to the known issue cause where the stock temp. gauge no longer works since it is not receiving the signal required. I am assuming this can be bypassed using an independant fan controller. But it still has to bypass the ECU. Does anyone know of any such device? i have searched and come up short.
The issue relating to the AC/ Climate control i have no idea how to resolve.
any help would be appreciated guys
yep two of the known issues ..... also how did he go with turning the steering wheel ???? did the power steering rev balance cause the car to stall ? we found that with the pfc on the corolla the instance the power steering was called on the revs would drop to the point where the car stalled ..... well from what i knw mate there is only 1 mechanic in aus thats managed to iron out all the issues bar the temp gauge from working and unfortunetly its his intelectual property so plastering it to tell the world is something he aint exactly going to do considering all the hours he spent sorting each issue out one by one ......
STILL having issues. Need to find out how to get the fan to cut in order to maintain the optimal engine op. temp.
also the issue related to P/s idle hunt.
Help needed please.
I am willing to pay for knowledge it is that serious.

i thought fuel cut was when you hit 187 kph using a stock ecu, and the car does go and faster.

Would the CES CAI be a direct fit back onto a 2001 Runx/Allex? or would minor modification be necessary?,
