  1. The motors on mine were still running fine. They had survived quite a lot of heat given the use my Aurion had. Even after all the banging around they got at the beginning of the week, the flaps still operated and the motors were fine.

One common way to blow the motors easily (not saying this is how yours wore out) is by operating them once they have reached full open or full closed. Holding the button down for any more an a second once the motor has reached the limit can cause the windings to burn out and this is even more of an issue when the exhaust (and therefore) the motor is hot.

ahh ok yeh theres a good possibility that could be the case.. im going to replace it with another motor and see how i go:)

  2. hey guys just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their varex muffler?

the motor on mine stopped working so i took it somewhere to have a look and they said it was stuffed and i should replace the motor with something of better quality?

i asked around on a few other forums and there are others having the same prob? is it common?

  3. The bosch will not fit in the ZZE fuel filter assembly.

sorry been thinking "nissan" lately.. i realised after i posted but didnt have time to edit..

hey evo yeh i havent been on here for a while, i have been working up north of w.a and just recently got back from holidays as you already know, ill get the mods to close it.. keep up the good work:)

  4. i have the jdm mrs helical lsd in my 1zz! if your not making much more power than stock then you wont need it..

    1zz or 2zz or doesn't matter?

    No difference in cornering?

the lsds fit in both 1zz and 2zz trans, take off is def quicker but in a stock powered vehicle you wont feel much of a difference.. but if you have the money slip it in when you change the clutch and flywheel while gearbox is out.

  5. I paid $2295 as a once-off plate fee to keep my plates for life. Yes it was expensive and yes it does expose me that little bit more, but I am satisfied with them. All personal preference really.

cant believe what i just read.. you're better off making fake plates and when you get caught by police pay the fine it would be cheaper!

  6. **** man nice work! i thank the lord i didnt have to go through this much to put my s/c on, theres no way i would be able to put up with it.. bet your dying to get it all back together and drive it! keep up the good work
