Theres this, peformance tuning show im absolutely hooked.

I enjoy watching automotive shows in general, especially when its do with modded up cars.

Im plan on doing the conversion using a stivo wreck.

Is there a mr2 club or something which made you find out the conversion ?

Or did you find the other people doing the conversion threw your friends ?

As much advice as possible, would be appreciated :)

superdave nice, but abit pricey looking for over $20k for chasis alone.

So the AUDM 2zzge will have the same layout as the jdm 2zzge ?

In that aricle they use the JDM 2zzge.

Fielder half shafts, down pipe, transaxle mounts, selector cables and starter. '92+ MR2 N/A drive shafts will be used in place of the Fielder drive shafts

So if i have a 2zzge half cut all i need is a 92+ MR2 N/A driveshafts ?

Would the brakes from the 2zzge stivo half cut be usable for the mr2 ?

It looks like a awesome car to do it in.

Light which i want plus looks a good track car once complete.

Looks quite hard abit of customisation and boring and drilling required.

Where is DR Tweak located at ?

Any details of his ride on the net ?

So what year is the AW11 mr2 ?

So the 2zzge is a easy fit in the mr2, like engine bay height and width and driveshafts ?

Also the mr2 is rear engine right ? so does that require custom engine mounts to fit ?

All the mechanical components are catered for.

Anyone know which cars are best suited for the conversion?

The ae92 corolla im considering at the moment but unsure if it will fit, due to height issues.

What year is the engine and what year is your car ?

Cause last time i wanted to do a conversion i was advised i couldnt go ahead due to the engine being older than the car chasis.

can you put the 2zzge in the ae86 ? lol

like is the engine bay big enough ? or the height is enough ?

why would you want to change your stock mounts ?

There is nothing us true car enthusiasts can do about it.

Its the small minority who wreck it for all of us.

Maybe more education will help, racing is for the track or dragway not on the street.

Got issues at the moment with my ride. But rather not talk about it yet, till they finished working on it on Monday.

My ride is a 07 model corolla and only a few months old aswell.

Hope they sort everything out.

Firstly why more power ? I would think 249.9 ATW KW is plenty.

Also the extra stresses on other components, would deem reduce its life.

Is this a weekend only car ? Dont your wheels just loose alot of traction due to the insane power output ?

The power to weight ratio would be insane, how is it to drive.

All the engine work has been done on the 4agze block ?
