I am also looking at replacing a clutch for a 2001 Camry v6 (Engine 1MZ-FE, Model MCV20). What was the cost in the end and did you use genuine parts?

Should also ask if anyone does have messaging working, then what model of phone/OS do you use?

Hi All,
I am a newbie I have done a search but cannot find anything that covers my issue. I have a 2014 Kluger with a sat-nav entertainment system in it. I have connected a couple of iphones without an issue but I seem to be unable to receive SMS's on the system. As I use my car during work hours I do not want to have to pickup my mobile. The manual seems to imply that messaging should function but I cannot work out for me as to how. Both my partner and I have iPhone 5's.
I have not been happy with the manual as it does not even state how to search appropriately through the multiplexes for digital radio stations. Took a fluke for me to work out that to change multiplexes you have to use the seek button and not the touch screen!
Overall while I love the new car, I have not been a fan of the entertainment system. The voice recognition is terrible and slow, and Toyota link seems flakey at best. If you check the radar function on my weather it has been up to a day old, even after clicking on refresh.
Any assistance appreciated with the meassging functionality as I am sure this is just not applicable to the Kluger model.
Regards
Mat
2014 SR5 voice recognition

I echo trentmeyer23's sentiments above. I have a 2014 Kluger and the voice recognition is slow and absolutely useless.. It take about 20 seconds to work out what to do if I say "Ring John Smith Mobile".. It will get it but it is slow. Also cannot simply state an address for the navigator to use. I am so disappointed but you simply do not test a lot of this functionality when you test drive a car. Also disappointed with the digital radio in that you can only pre program 6 digital stations and it is slow to move between different bands/multiplexes!!!
