  1. Hello Guys,

I am looking for a DYI Automatic Transmission Fluid flush, for a PRADO 2007 four (4) cylinder 2TR-FE.

    TRANSMISSION: ATM: AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
GEAR SHIFT TYPE: 4FC: ATM, 4-SPEED FLOOR SHIFT

I have donned several searches but find info on the ATF flush only for the 6 cylinder engine.

This is the Filter my transmission use.
Part 35330-60030 : STRAINER ASSY, VALVE BODY OIL http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_G_200605_TOYOTA_LAND+CRUISER+PRADO_TRJ120L-GKPEK_3512.html?hl=35330

Also, I am thinking on using VALVOLINE MAX ATF. Reading the product info, it say is WS compatible. http://www.valvoline.com/pdf/maxlife_atf.pdf

Also I can find here in my country MOTUL MULTI ATF that also is WS compatible
    https://www.motul.com/system/product_descriptions/technical_data_sheets/149/Multi_ATF_(GB).pdf?1335542544

My automatic transmission has a dipstick and checking the ATF is brown color so I want to flush it and also change the filter.

    Any advice?

    THX

  2. Hello Guys,

    I have a Toyota Prado 2007 with 4 cylinder 2.7 gasoline engine,
    automatic transmision with only 53,000kms. (TRJ120L - 4 Cylinder 2.7 - 2TR-FE)

Not sure if you get this engine in your country but maybe you can help me.

I am the first owner of this car and I have never tow a trailer or
engage the 4 wd. My wife only use this car as a regular comuter.

Just recently I found that "sometimes" when I am at a complete stop,
when I acelerate to start moving, the car transmision start in 2nd gear
    intead of 1st gear.

I note this because the car move slogggish............. Some times I
need to press the gas pedal several times to the floor in order that the
gear kick down and the trans go into 1st gear.

This thing only happens sometimes but then the car shifts as regular.

I check the ATF oil level and is OK. I have not smell it or check the color.

What can be the problem? Do you think I need to change my Transmision ATF filter and ATF oil to cure this problem?

    Any advise?

Thanks for your time and help

    Isaac
