Awesome. Thanks for the tips. So should I go see an engineer first up with a design and get to draw it all up then go to a fab shop with the plans?

Haven't seen a extra cab tub on a s'cab/chassis, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one with a dual cab tub on a s'cab chassis. Hope to get my much oil-burning/leaking 2L out today so I can re-fit my now reconned 5L w turbo [CT20A]-unadjusted injector pump so no extra max power. I want cruising economy from the boost at speed. It's been nearly 2 yrs since my 5L ran low on oil, and it's been a massive fight to sort out, with 2 knee replacements and minimal disposable income to deal with, but as my main post says-"End in sight".

Want to do the dual cab tub on the single cab as well and take up the available space with a cage. What hoops did you have to jump through with yours?

Well this is my first post so hello to the Forum!

I have this crazy idea to have a dual cab tub on my single cab hilux. The space in between would be taken up by a cage that I can lock valuables in/ keep the pooch in. I'm not a pig hunter but definitely an avid camper!

So question 1.

I'm six foot. What is the length of a dual cab tub with the tail gate down. Want to throw a swag in there to sleep in.

2.

Will the dual cab tub fit straight onto the single cab chassis with the existing mounts or will I have to get them modified? Engineering?
