That is definitely what is sounds like...I just googled it and it says exactly what my ute is doing. My ute is using a lot of fuel, I only get under 350kms from a full tank of fuel

I have a 2006 SR Hilux V6 4lt petrol ute and when I take of from stand still (especially on a hill), it will stall or jump unless I ride the clutch and/or put the revs up.

Sometimes its ok but most of the time its not. When I'm towing a trailer it is much worse. It seems to have no power, then when u r about to change to second it comes good but it will do it again in second gear. I can smell the clutch burning a lot of the time but there's nothing I can do for it will stall if I don't ride the clutch.

Is this common? Can it be fixed?

I have a 2009 Hilux SR5 and I want to install a reverse camera on it. The question I have is does the CD/Radio unit have a video input that I could tap into? has anyone done this? any suggestions or recommendations please?

Hi there buddy...looking at my one that I took out of my 2006 SR Hilux, it doesn't seem to have a video input.

I installed a Android 4.4 Car GPS DVD Stereo F/Toyota Landcruiser Prado Camry Hilux Hiace Rav4 from eBay for $400 and it has 2 inputs for reverse camera and dash cam. It also has video record for the dash cam. It was very simple to install as well...unit comes with plug & play (detach old plugs and attach new ones).
