DIY - Changing in-tank fuel filter in Workshop Submissions Posted October 18, 2016 I had a question we replaced the fuel pump and the u-clip went missing does it have a lot to with why my car isn't starting it was running for a week we changed the fuel pump and filter and starter and now the fuel pump doesn't seem to be kickin on it started when we sraped eginie starter srap in the air cover and started had foot on gas for about 5 mins and then took it off and the car went died don't understand what is wrong please if anyone knows please getting ahold of me have a 2 year old and cant really go with out my car for much longer if anyone has an ideas let me kno
