Is it the kind where you put the remote fob in to the socket in the glovebox or the later one?

Generally with remotes you only program one at a time - setting one shouldn't wipe the other out from the system (that generally only with aftermarket systems I have found)

No glove box socket in my camry, just ignition key lock/on/lock x3 then security light goes solid, hold remote button and it blinks indicators to tell you its programmed then remove key to test

I have 3 working remotes, just wanted a spare programmed remote to go with my set of spare keys

  2. Hello,

Does anyone know how to program more than 1 keyless entry FOB remote for a 98 Camry?

I did have 2 working remotes programmed, then I had to replace battery in one, but when entering programming mode I can only seem to program one or the other.

Tried pressing the buttons on both simultaneously but only the one I pressed first was programmed.

    Any help would be appreciated
