  1. thought id say hi to the most of you that i dont know

    from brisbane drive a 162 celica that needs panel beating haha not really fussed on looks at this present time just spent a few dollars on the engine its currently running a 3sgte ill post some pics instead of rambling on for 3 years, the car if all goes to plan should be back on road in about 4 weeks *crosses fingers*

    the car already has ems stinger ecu, fmic , 3inch exhaust, gen 1 3sge intake manifold, walbro 255 pump soon to be 2, few other bits and pieces

  2. the mr2 has its turbo at the back also :P i see what your saying but a new metal thicker hg will lower compression a little, and toyota doing things the way they do things id be confident in saying it could take 10 psi with cooling etc maybe more.. look at the 98 model 2.7 petrol dead stock bottom end pulling like 350rwkw...

    but it is a different engine so things change...

  3. you could buy a 2nd hand turbo for about 400 - 500 to suit your application , custom manifold would be 700 , then youd need water lines/oil lines probably 100 - 200 , your ecu probly could run it at 7psi or so (most ecus can) , an intercooler would just about be a must, a dump pipe atleast- would be beter with a new dump and 2.5 or 3inch exhaust.

    not sure if you knwo this just letting you know prices etc...

  4. why isnt a hi reving engine not spost to be turbod... lol... 80% of jamboree is rotars and if there not high reving i dont know what is. i dont get your comment...

    once you get to a certain power point the vvti is probly restrictive, i have tvis which is just the old version of vvti and it is restrictive at around 300hp atw

    and what is the difference between s/c boost and turbo boost in the way of harming your engine... there is none...

  5. no go there security will kick u out within 5 minutes , unless u park down the bottom but being a thursday night there will usualy be alot of peoples cars there from catching the train

    maybe the pauls end of west end / riverside they got parks and lights etc?.. no hoons racing round there up the other end lol

  6. your not gunna go gettin to much more power out of the 3sge even with different ecu and exhaust etc etc , your pushin to get much over 100kw atw... another option is the 3sgte it bolts in and ur gearbox will bolt to it but a lsd is recomended.. but then thigns start to get pricey.. a basic conversion will set u back probly 4k if u know ur way around a car... and goin to 7500 doin the work ur self that u can .. with a car pushin at atleast 170 - 180 kw atw with the 7500.. and alot mroe potential

  7. Ok people yes it is SUPER CRUISE 2005.....

    Read below (same post but under the map)

    This WILL be an annual event hopefully growing bigger with number each and everytime time....the routes may change from year to year but not greatly!

    The plan i want to do is eventruly is to mate it with a dyno/show'n'shine the next day or something! just an idea...will need a fair more members to havea dyno day and ****...but yeah!

    on the map where the insets is for the first offical meet in the catholic school car park.....follow tha 2nd round-about towards the school on the conner NOT down the back road that follows the HUGE BP servo... then take the first turn ont he left called Williamson st or road...and then the next interestiong....the school drive way is right in front (Stright) and follow that to the car park...easy!

    the purple arrows is the route we will be taking....

    to GREAT surprise the lengths of road just after fraser road as it goes on to terranora road is OPEN SPEED LIMIT (sign as same shape and size of normal speed signs but with a big black circle (not red) and a big black line thorugh it)... when i sure this i happy...but still me a ozzy did take it quite easy as wee didn't knwo the roads and the cruise will be traveling a smooth pace not extrem...it just makes it ok to 0-100 tests after each time we stoped to check out photo spots or what not! so yeah not stupid ****.....

    This being a low cruise and **** i was thinking (and have spoking to luke about this and he likes the idea very much).....

    any ways i have come up with the following times and **** the main meet point at the start...

    BRISY PEOPLE MEET AT CRAZY CLARKS in SPRINGWOOD @ 10am for a 10.30 leave (NO photos and stuff here....just meet and follow down to main meet point)

    Catholic School Car Park (exit) - Main Meet Point: 11:00am

    Leave: 11:45am

    Point Danger (on the beach particly) Meet: 12:40pm

    (there is toilets there and just a sho streach of ya legs along the beach, photos are posible but parking is ok but not all of us in the same area so yeah....)

    Leave: 1:00pm

    Alone Terranora Road...photo stop..(very good one): 1:30pm... ish

    Leave: 10min later...lol

    Murwillumbah: 2:00pm

    (we will be parking at a nice road side parking will be there for about 30-45min and let everyone just go and walk around murwillumbah...get KFC or what ever do soemthing and meet back at the car park by 2.45pm. I'll give out copies of the local map....

    Leave: 2.45pm

    Hinze Dam: 3.45pm

    (there ARE heaps of good look outs and **** here so we will be doing a couple of laps of place going from photo point to photo point...and very good views!

    Leave: 4.30pm ish

    Tamborine Mtn lookout (western)(sunset hopefully): 5:15pm ish

    Leave: 5:20pm ish

    Posible dinner at Cafe/takeaway: 5:30pm ish

    Leave: 7:00pm

    BWCP (Boardwater Car Park): 7:40 pm

    (This is the offical end of the cruise...leave anytime you want too after meeting here....but i'd like for us to take up a whole lane to show the force of the celica...lol and all that and some night photos so stick around for like a good 30min at least!)

    ***I'll be asking for people to conferm on coming so i can get some solid number of people coming and cars (Mainly people coming so say who u are bringing)...I was thinking of having a huge order of pizza's (not **** pizza hut or major brand pizza's) but top **** proper pizza's (ask luke how good they are)..the only thing is they not as cheap as pizza hut and **** but unlike pizza hut here one of there pizza's fill you these pizza's you only need like half!...if we get proper numbers and **** i can get these very nice pizza's at a bulk order discount and get a heap of cold drinks..... and good to this cafe/takeaway i know with heaps of parking and toliets to eat them...lol! I was thinking about $10.00 a person for particly all u can have pizza and all u can have soft drink (coke (normal and diet), fanta, and lemon sqush posibly)...With any extra money left over donated to this forum (sharmz) for its upgrading and continuation!!!

  8. dont turbo the stock engine youll pay for it lol... buy a gen 2 3sgte there cheaper.. depending on ur budget.. it will cost u 7500 for the conversion , aftermarket ecu , big front mount , intercooler piping , 3inch mandrel bent system , double dump , etc etc etc... if ur gunna use a front mount use the 3sge intake manifold find one stops heat soak

    and yep the starter hole is on the other side u can re drill it on the opposite side of buy a sv21 camry gearbox.. youll need to buy the sv21 camry starter motor if u do that... ive just finished the conversion if u run into ne problems send me a email or something..

    the 3sge computer will handle stock positive pressure not sure about the 3sfe one..

  9. if ur lookin for power... put ur stock airbox back on and put a k&n panel filter in it unless your goin to make a cold air induction put the pod in front of the gearbox down low.. extractors dont make a big difference for what there worth if u can pick up a 2nd hand pair get em... the n/a engine is pretty limited to mods if your on a low budget next step would be head work etc... but that costs a bit of money good luck
