As is always the case, there's something about any new car which you don't notice until after you've bought it. It's never a dealbreaker, but something you certainly miss from the last car, and wonder why it wasn't included in the new one.
I've discovered that my recently acquired shiny new (2007) Camry doesn't have any additional inputs beyond the standard AM/FM/CD functionalities.
No one seems to have the same question and/or problem, or else I'm using the wrong search terms.
To me, my options appear to be (preferably) add these inputs and/or find a way to integrate them to the current (stock) head unit, or (less preferable) go all out and find a way to replace the whole thing. It's not a modular set up like previous cars I've had (slot in/slot out) but appears to be more integrated into the front console, as newer cars seem to be going these days.
I've run across similar doovalackies to this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Aux-input-Adapter-MP3-Radio-Interface-for-Toyota-Camry-Corolla-4Runner-C9O4-/131843828079?fits=Make%3AToyota
but they appear to take the place of the CD input, being an 'either/or' scenario. I'd like to keep the CD player if possible.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks,
