I was doing a few drawings when we first got the sportivo and there is enough room in the floor to mount them with what looks to be not alot of trouble or behing the back seats which will mean you'll loose about 3 inchs or so.
Havent had time to have a play but when im finished i'll let you know :)
is there room directly above the spare wheel, but mounted on the liftable wooden floor?
Yes there looks to be. Will try and figure something out on the weekend cause its a pain not having a decent stereo in the car, thought it was something i wouldnt miss but i was mistaken

Hey Everyone,
Thankyou for the interest so far, I am not sure that i'll be able to get a photo shoot done in all states. I have contacts in both NSW and VIC that would be willing to help and I cant get either of them, as they both have other commitments as well to travel to QLD to do a shoot.
Im happy to organise it in Sydney or Melbourne which ever there is more people interested.
I'll leave this open till the end of the month and then I'll need final numbers as i dont want to organise a shoot and only have myself turn up, fair enough these guys are friends of mine but i cant expect them to give up there long weekend for only one car, kinda defeats the purpose.
Once again thankyou

Your talking about Jun so yes, i spoke to Jun about it, i'ld recommend him to everyone.
sure! he did the work for exclusive hot4s last year some pics are here http://www.exclusive-auto.org/gallery/04hot4sJL/
hope you guys get this thing happening!
Yes he did do that shoot. Juns a great guy and i recon one of the best, always makes a great background and a great photo.
I didnt mention numbers i just gave him an idea. I would personally like to do it as an annual meeting thing but i know alot of people cant all take time off at the same time ect.
Depending on where its going to be and the interest im willing to look into group discounts for accommodation ect.
I'll leave it open for people to say they would be interest or not until the end of the month and then go from there.

What about the Sydney meet...???
http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=1782
If we can get a few of the modded bods out there... (I'm looking at you Influx, Screaminrolla, KoroLa883, xTigerx and grimlock (even though it's a 1ZZ) and waiwong38). It is atill a month away, plenty of time to prepare!!!
If not, Anzac weekend would be the next best... being a long weekend we could have the Vic folk drive up and the Qld peeps come down, and it isn't too far for the Canberra people... That's a sure fire way to get the best modded cars in OZ all there, except Skitzo... sorry mate, unless you feel like driving 4000 K's???
But come on... Lets have a mega meet people!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D
Thats what i was thinking, would need to look into somewhere ect and also accommodation on that weekend and the like. If its going to be in Sydney it will prob be another writer but i dont want to organise it and have everyone say they will be there and no one show up so to speak. Have a look in the last mag at the cruise patrol, that was done at the end of last year.
thanks guys

Im not going to turn it into a whos got better cars thing, there was a question asked if it could be done and im doing something about it.
I still think it should be a central location, ie its not fair for all the qld drivers to drive to melb and vice versa
-
More than willing, but all depends where ?
will just depend on who wants to and where is central for everyone.

Hi Everyone,
As it was mentioned previously there was some talk of wanting to do a Sportivo photo shoot. I've spoken to one of the main writes and photographers and they are willing to as long as i can organise it ect.
What i am after is to see who would be interested. Im located in NSW and one of the writes just for NSW just left to do his own thing but is still doing things for Hot4s or there is another writer/photographer.
The person i contacted is actually in Melbourne but depending on what we can get together he may be willing to travel.
I know there are alot from Qld and Vic and others around the place so im open for suggestions. The only thing i ask is that it will have to be after i have the car fixed from the hail in NSW the other week.
So maybe a big meet up somewhere or something, i know most said they werent going to go to the toyota nationals so maybe we can organise to go somewhere else over the long weekend being easter or Anzac weekend.
Look forward to your suggestions.
Thanks
Ren

Hey Peeps,
I was just wondering if any one had previously entered the toyota nationals and if there was anyone that was looking at entering this year?
Thanks
Ren

yeah that would be a great idea.
get all the crew together for a photo shoot and to get the word out about the site.
anyone else like the idea and ill try to get in touch with hot 4s.
Hey guys,
Im a member on Hot4s forum and have had a bit to around the place, if your keen on organising something, I'll have a word to a few of the writers.
Let me know.
Cheers

If a long weekend is best... ANZAC day is on a Mon this year making 23-25 April free... or Queens Birthday weekend June 11-13 (Both holidays are Johnnies favourites so might be a good idea to wake him up early!!!!) :P :P
Donza and myself would be up for it. Just need to know a little in advance so Scott can get out of work on the saturday.

If you dont mind me asking where did u get your OEM one from?
-
this by far in my opinion is the tuffest rear skirt for the stivo out there mate..
its called the bomex rear bar....
Thats one sexy looking bar. Do you know where i could find one?

Hi Ren,
For all your TRD/TOMS performance parts i recommend you contact Bruce from TRDSales and let him know you are from the forum he will look after you.

Check out his website he will be able to look after your needs. He's a really busy guy so please keep this in mind also.
As for Unichip i would highly recommend the guys at Autotech engineering. Speak to Spiro he will look after you. Ph 98971378 they are located @ number 20 George st Granville.
With the unichip though this should be the last performance mod you do otherwise u might need to retune it after each mod to make sure u get the best possible performance.
You mention ECU......to say the least i havent seen a suitable ECU replacement that is cost effective enough to choose it over the Unichip. There was roomer of the Apexi Power FC as this is what the celica boys fit but it turns out our wiring loom is different and not compatible....I did see somewhere on the net a performance place which could fit it to the matrix (US version of sportivo) but they wanted an extra $1000 to do it as they have made some custom part or something. Anyway like i said stick with the Unichip.
cheers
Bill
Thankyou very much. Only picked the car up on saturday arvo and its a great little thing. Just needs to be lowered. I'll contact the people you've mentioned.
