You know what I really want to see happening!?!.. A cruise from QLD down to Canberra down to SYDNEY :) i think it'd be cool to see a whole highway full of toyota's be sweet. :)

Very risky... its easier to accept the offer than transfer. or at least try it out than the place u already have. May be harder in NSW but yeah it's not that hard up here in ACT but yeah, give it a shot and then see how you go.

When I was in Canberra, I used to see this bloke driving around on a regular basis with a Goat up Hindmarsh Drive and around the Phillip area...

There this guy that drives a pink llama around canberra :P .. belconnen area mainly.. its very recognisable.. how many llamas are there that's pink!?! .. it was seen at local events too.. heres a photo ..

.. no one believed i saw one til they saw it at the belco community festival last yr..

yep rosella can't spell :( .. i visited a pet shop a while back. and there was one to be sold at 1200!! thats 10 times what i bought my bird forin november .. (110) hand reared so it partially tamed :)

i cant text while driving!.. and.. even without driving i cant eat properly with chop stiks.. i always get told by people that i hold them wrong.. shame on me.. since im fully asian!

How about adapting texting and chopstix buttons to the wheel ? and a USB port and an ipod dock... to much of an ask ?

Get a tiel!!! hehe.. my tiel is very amazing.. he doesn't move much when in the car. smart too sits on the shoulder where the belt isnt. and yay for not being the only crazy person that drives around with a bird!

LOL to the robot reference. Long story short, I was chatting to someone on Zoosk though Facebook, eventually handed out my number and next day; BAM! Spam text messages. Luckily it didn't continue. I'm more aware of spam bots now.

Yeah, apart from the Toyota Chook, I have a Cockatiel. He isn't overly messy and it's easy to clean up after him. Here are some photos of him checking out the local wildlife:

And, I have seen people with Cockatoo's in their car as well. They are usually more tame and sit still better than Cockatiels.

TOO FUNNY! I have a cockatiel too, he sits on my shoulder.. he's very very still.. doesn't move around much unless i hide him in my lap when i see cops.. thats when he protests.

LOL. Fancy that. Mine is way to hyperactive all the time. If I put him in my lap, he will jump down onto the floor, crawl under the seat, and before you know it, will be on the rear parcel shelf. Then will start chewing something up and it is difficult to stop him while you are driving.

my one loves eatting paper!!! if not e'd sit on my neck and start pecking me.. and my scabs on my arm.. lil vampire bird! according to pet store its a sign of affection - preening.. hurts but.

the twin axial helis (two sets of blades above each other that sping in opposite directions) are a gazillion time easier to fly because you don't have to worry about tail control but they have very limited in their flying capabilities. If you fly tail rotor helis you'll have to fimiliarise yourself with two types: fixed and collective pitch. Collective pitch gives you the best control and stability but are harder to setup and more expensive to maintain.

I have a T-Rex 450 Electric. It's a collective pitch model. Assuming you fly in Mode1 (most Aussie radios are set up this way) you'll need to learn to use one hand for pitch and the other hand for roll. it will take you a while to get used to it. no amount of explaination will teach you to fly, you'll have to learn by trying it. but i must warn you, it gets expensive. I have not yet had a flying day where something wasn't damaged or broken. I have changed many landing skids, main blades, tail blades, and tail booms.

Yeah... only thing is. my current flight simultor is in mode 2. so im more used to it :P apparently mode 1 is easier to fly tough.. ah the headache just doesn't end.

I'm planning to get an Azrech Zulu to start off with. then if it goes as i plan a t-rex 400. i'm not the type of person to sit there and put things together so.. going to get a rtf first off. :) and.. since my current knowledge about rc helis is so bad i have no idea what you're on about BUT thanks for the help!

I have a pet Cockatiel that likes to go for drives in the car. He always sits on the dash though and usually runs from side to side. He likes to chew at the demister vents though. Haven't had issues with cops yet. If I ever need to keep him out of view or if he really annoys me by getting in the way, I put him in the little area where the speedo is.

Once I had him sitting on the top of my head rest and I accidentally put the front windows down. Drove for like 5 seconds before realising. Now I take better caution. He stayed fairly still though which was lucky.

Well since my R/c Heli topic is sooo popular and all to the point its almost dead i'm just wondering whether anyone out there besides from me have a pet bird that they drive around. Just wondering whether theres another way of taking my friend along without him sitting on my shoulder especially when there are cops around.

I am under the assumption that if you don't have the A/C controls on your steering wheel, you don't have the electronic climate control on your Aurion either. You have the AT-X right? In that case, it is not economical to adapt your car to have both (you need the climate control for the steering wheel controls to work). Of course if you had the money, anything is possible.

What steering wheel controls for A/C?

Man, what a gipp. I thought they would have included it for the ZR6. I guess I never really payed attention. So it seems only the Presara earns the luxury status of getting those controls.

:) i'm proud i have mastered the art of driving whilst changing the a/c controls! without this new technology. YAY for me!!!
