  1. Hi Guys,

The following error comes in my Toyota corolla 2006. I have attached live data of O2 sensors and others.  What could be the issue here? Do you think there may be a faulty oxygen sensor? Or the catalytic converter should be replaced? Or any other reason?

Appreciate it a lot if you could help me at this time cause the check engine light is still on. 😟

  2. Hi guys,

I bought a Mini VCI J2534 from eBay and installed on my laptop with Tech stream V17.00.020. I checked it plugging to my 2006 Toyota Corolla and found that other than Engine check and Airbag modules, Immobilizer and ABS modules are not working. I've attached screenshot for reference. Please, can anybody tell me what is going on here? Is this related to a Hardware or Software issue ? Also found that CAN Bus is not working.

    Many thanks.

If the quality is ok and the price is right, then why not. Alternatively, you can seek out a replacement from a local wrecker. That way you will have a genuine part and know it's good. I'm not sure if they're the same on all four doors. I would imagine they would be and with this you could get one off a back door as that one gets less usage and will be in better condition that say a driver's door for example.

By the way, your link was fruitless. The seller may have taken down the listing or it ended.

Hi mate, sorry for the link not supported. I have pasted down the link if you are curious about it for reference. Yeah they are not the same in back doors. By the way if i go with wreckers they have the used ones although they are genuine. These ones are brand new but aftermarket ones. I'll try these ones and let u know about the quality.

    Cheers.

Not necessarily. It could just be that it's not had a service in a long time. Have you had the car long and does it have some kind of service history ?

Another thing that you could also check is the engine mounts. If the mounts are worn, it too can transmit some kind of noise. That's a longer shot, but it's worthwhile checking, especially if the car hasn't had a decent inspection for a while.

Don't despair, the noise isn't that bad and chances are it could be something minor or something that can be nipped in the bud.

Nope. Just had the car for a month now and it doesn't have service history. The engine bay is nice looking. No major leaks as well. No vibrations even when driving. Let's hope nothing major. Thanks mate for your replies 🤩

Sounds like something going on with the drivetrain. When it's under load (when accelerating) it reveals itself. It's hard to tell what exactly it is from the sound clip but I'd have the front end inspected. It could be wheel bearings starting to go bad or something within the transmission.

Cant be wheel bearings mate, because whenever i pull away my leg from the accelerator pedal it goes off. It comes again after i push the pedal. If it is from transmission that sounds bad right ? ooh dear. 😬
