Hi guys i am currently in the process of upgrading the manifold, turbo and intercooler on my gt4.

I am considering selling the factory top mount W2A setup but have no idea what it’s worth as i can’t find any for sale anywhere. Anyone have any ideas what it might be worth if i do decide to sell?

Hey guys is there any way to identify between the e150f, e151f, e152f & e154f gearboxes??

i want to replace the one in my 1990 jdm st185 gt4 and found a place that has 3 rebuilt ones on the shelf ready to go but the only details they have is that they are from a st185 gt4. I want to see if one is a e151f with the better synchros and ratio but from what i can find online there are no id numbers or anything on the boxes.

That was what i was hoping it was because i need the remote override switch to program a new remote as a spare but nope it doesn’t effect the remote or alarm in any way

May be tough but if you can see the colours you may be able too trace their source, if you unplug them does anything change? If you have access to a multi-meter you could see if they are live, if not then I suppose only thing is too try and trace them. I hate mysteries and it would bug me until I knew what that was for.

I’ll have to see if i can trace the wires and also see if it has power to it but it is a massive birdsnest of wires under there lol

May sound dumb but have you checked your wheel bearings and also tyres?? Scalloped rear tyres can cause similar symptoms.

there is definitely 2 wires connected to the back of it.

my first thought was window lock as well but the windows still work from both switches when it is on and there is already a window lock button on the drivers door that does work.

Hi guys,

i have a jdm st185 that has this switch on the panel under the steering wheel. Looks like a door or window lock switch but there are already buttons for that on the drivers door panel. I used google translate on the writing and it says “remote controller” but the switch doesn’t seem to do anything at all.

any ideas?

Hey guys probably a long shot but i’m looking for a ST205 complete gearbox if there are any still out there.

preferably in Vic but will consider any options

New hear, was on ozcelica before but that site seems to have dissapeared in the years my gt4 has been collecting dust unused in my garage lol. I have a 1990 ST185 widebody celica, had a full engine rebuild with forged internals, upgraded cams, group a wta intercooler among other stuff approx 7 years ago. Since then has done around 2,000kms and has not been driven at all the last 2-3 years. Finally decided to get off my ***** and give her a respray so i’m sure i will have lots of questions if anyone here still knows about these cars.
