Ah ok, thanks! I was trying to save a bit of money by doing it myself, but I think it'd be a lot easier to get a pro to do it. $800 or so isn't too expensive in the long run. Did you install a hiace seat? Or something from another vehicle?

Hi Everyone!

I own a short wheel base 2002 Hiace, and am looking at installing a bench seat in the cargo area so I can carry some extra passengers.

I was wondering if anyone has already done this, or has some useful information for me? Engineering requirements will need to be considered too so that it's all nice and legal.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
