Hi there people i know this topic has been on veryones mind, well it has been on my mind for the last 2.5yrs....I been looking everywhere where to have the Cat removed, cut the long story short!! We all know our cars have 2 sensors and there has been a lot of comments saying it cant be done without doing this or that....Well i went to a company here in the UK and they basically removed the Cat for me and put a straight pipe in place of the cat with the sensors being inserted into the pipe, job done!!

no1. Faster!!

no2. More Torque!!

no3. Louder!!

no4. Not made any difference on fuel if anything it seems better!!

no5. The mixture is a running a bit lean, if anyone knows how do help me on this please feel free to comment ! !

Hi there people hope you are all ok, wondering if anyone can help me with some info.....my corolla t-sport is blowing out Warm air when it is supposed to be blowing out hot air, it has only recently happened and i dont know what is wrong with it? Hey people thanks for your comments, I got in touch with TTE in Germany and they put me in touch with a Company called Silverstone(its a famous race track team here in the UK, they specialise in our cars and they quoted me 875.620 AUD less than the other place) so i am going to use this Company instead) they told me they will replace everything, dont know what ECU they are going to use but once its all done i will post fiqures on here and graphs, when i get it done i will ask them if i can take pics of the start to end process of the fitting, they said it will take around 6 hours to do it. I cant wait to get it done, I said it will be in about 3 months time when i got the money together. Also i have been told i can fit a dump valve to make it louder, do any of you know if this is true? I await your replies......

Hi there People what are your views on fitting a supercharger? I can purchase the Corolla supercharger for my ride for 4,171.64 AUD the guy said its a case of just plug and play and will cost an extra 901.976 AUD to fit it. (that includes the ECU)

yes, but its being covered lots before, there should be heaps of information around, try searching for clutch

Also a matrix is a corolla anyway so whats with the celica part?

Apparently the celica also has the same 2zzge engine, so in fairness the clutches for the celica and other parts for it should also fit on our corolla rite?

yes and no. The celica originally had the 2ZZ engine, which was then donated to the corolla as well. Some celica parts will fit the engine, others wont.

Hey People took my car to the garage this morning as therte was a noise under the car, a few of us thought i damaged the cv joint, but it turns out i broke the Gearbox mount for the engine, dut to taking the corners too fast what can i say, i guess i have a heavy foot hehe, have any of you had any problems with your cars? Hi there People hope your all good, just wanted to ask you all something.....you all know i am from Manchester England rite and our cars over here are called the Toyota Corolla T-Sport. When you guys and gals order your parts mods etc for your cars lets say from america, what are these cars called in America so if i was to purchase parts, mods etc then i would know what to purchase without having the wrong parts shipped over to me. Can you name some companies i can purchase parts from in america or in Australia etc as i think you all have some sweet rides with some nice modifications and i would also like some of these goodies too...

well the lambda sensors measure unburnt fuel levels in the exhaust gas if they dont work the efi has no way to tell what ratio to mix the fuel at and may well go into limp mode or run at a pre set level as a backup program rooted into the ecu.

you could always try it take a quick run in it with them off and see if it improves but your have to reset the ecu to clear the resulting fault code

A few of my friends have got the Honda integra and the Civic Si and they have removed the catalyst converters and have had a good increase of power but they only have one sensor where as we have 2, is there a way round this? Do you know where i could purchase a header for my car? Even from you town I could pay for shipping. Thanks

Engine won't run much different, just rich or lean, ecu will know that it's gone but it'll think it's broken and will report an efi flashing code.

It's also illegal to remove a cat converter unless the car's never touching the road again. A higher flow cat will help improve hp, but sack torque in the process. Afermarket spark and injection is your best route for more power from these engines.

Hey people just a quick question here for you?? Has any of you bypassed the lambda sensor on the exhaust or tempted to bypass it? As i would like to remove the catylst converter to increase my BHP, I believe it has one before and one after the catylst converter?

Luca, the white speedometer/gauge cluster only comes in vehicles fitted with the 1ZZ engine in Australia, therefore would be no use to you as the 1ZZ redline is 6400RPM.

Look around and you'll see there is some aftermarket support for these vehciles in Australia, intake kits, exhausts, and a few supercharger kits from Japan...

I want to buy a racing clutch for my car, but when i do a search for parts in my country there is no listings for it, so i thought since the celica is also a 2zzge engine, i thought it would use the same clutch? If so i want to buy a stage 2 racing exedy clutch for it. Or would you recommend any performance parts and places where i can get them from? Thanks
